Where would our country be without a good Navy. All part of the American Adventure. Seriously though, if you think about it, the American Adventure isn't just about Colonial Times. It's from then to the present. Maybe not as nostalgic looking, but, those other outfits look really hot (as in warm) to me. Maybe, we should consider the comfort of those hard working CM's!

I often wonder why everyone gets so upset about that type of thing. Those fountains are chlorinated and, to my knowledge, no one is considering drinking out of it. Seem pretty harmless to me and a great way to get the little one's cooled down on a hot day. They don't have the refined temperature regulating systems that adults have.

I endorse that idea. After all if you are planning on attempting to kill someone performing a scientific experiment you might as well use some worthless item that you have hanging around the house.
It isn't the sanitary issues with the fountains They are not pools yet deep enough to drown. Deeper than a kiddy pool yet not constructed for safe entry or painted with slip proof coating. Chemicals are different for fountains different for pools and pools chemical balance is checked every 2 hours. Pools have AEDs life saving, devices, crash bags, backboards etc and rules posted unlike fountains.

You're not in any personal danger though, right?!
Might you have to evacuate? Do you have some place to go?
no, but my uncles were in a more dangerous evacuation area. thanks god it didnt went as bad as they were expecting..
The flooding didn't reach the area I live (we're around 2-3 miles from the river)
most of the flooding went the other side of the river.

but the water DID REACH the border of a few housing areas away from us. managed to flood some important avenues but nothing serious.

The real danger was the bridges falling, since they are the only main connections between Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta.
The other connections are thru the mountains, slow and dangerous roads.
And the connections between the towns would be via boats and ferries. Pretty much disrupting everything.

heres an article and a video of the flooding and the damage to a bridge that failed upriver (in another town)
there is no video or photos of the other bridge that fell.

why I am not surprised? :hilarious:

in other news, my sister's daughter just showed me a picture taken by a friend of hers.. shows the waterline almost on the bridge's car level. THIS IS BAD.
because the older bridge fell when the water was lower.
Right! These days, Levi's are made in China.

I don't have any Levi's from China. Mexico, Egypt and Columbia but no China Levi's.
