I'm finally home....In the cold....

I had a great time though. And the last night was great. As I said, I ate at a buffet called Makahiki. I was sitting along for almost 30 minutes though because my friends that were traveling with me but staying in different rooms though that the reservation was later:p I wanted to get food, but it kind of makes me feel fat to be by myself going up and getting food and more food:p
The selections they had were great. I tried and enjoyed a lot of different fish in particular, such as crab, shrimp, raw salmon/tuna, sushi, oysters, and a very nice miso salmon. My girlfriend pretty much just piled up on and went crazy with the shrimp, saying we have to take advantage of all of this free, good shrimp:D:p
The next day came the flight home:grumpy: I hate planes....a lot. Though, luckily the winds were with us and the flight was a lot quicker than the flight there. And the airplane food was surprisingly ok.
The plane landed this morning, which feels so hard to beleive....It's like it was all days ago, but I never really had a nighttime, so yesterday is kind of like still today. Its been a LONG day. Seriously, I have gone close to 36 hours operating on only 2 or so 1 hour naps.

Goodnight everybody!:p;)

No
Also, the law requires helmets for all bicyclists under the age of 18. No exceptions. Again, hefty fines.
Same for some states down here. But it all depends on the state, and in some cases, the county as well.

For some, including Florida and Maryland, the age is 16. For others, it's 18. For some, it's younger (in PA, I know it's 12) In Maryland, there's one county that requires them regardless of age. Once I turned 16, I pretty much said no more bike helmets. Except for ice skating.

I once rode in the back of my grandparents' Jeep when I was about 8 years old. No seatbelt. It was awesome. I've seen kids down here do the same thing in the back of a truck, though usually only on the backroads where cops cannot/do not sit.

See @Cesar R M - not military short, just quite a bit shorter than usual.
Now that I've had the chance to wash it and finger style it, I'm pretty it will be more than a week or two before it's back to "normal".

This is the way it has always been at our A&W since it opened in the 60s. (No rollerskates though.) I remember when we were little us kids would pile in the back of the pickup after baling hay and get treated to floats for working hard. Our A&W has twenty parking stalls, a few picnic tables and a small inside dining. Every other week are Classic Car Cruise-ins. :)

Now that sounds like fun! It also sounds like your A&W was a lot larger than the ones I used to go to, in the New England area. I remember these huge mugs of root beer with the "suds" on the top, that they'd bring out to you. :hungry: My mother always got a root beer float, but us kids drank ours straight up!!

Our jumping waters in Chicago are better than Epcots.

You finally hit upon a subject that I tend to forget about after, but, of all the things that I see that drives me crazy it is the jumping fountains at Imagination that bother me the most. It has been years now that a couple of them miss the mark. Only by the smallest amount but enough to ruin the smoothness of it all. I looked closely at them the last time I was there (February) and all they require is just the slightest adjustment in either the nozzle aim or the receiver pad. I wanted to flag down a CM and ask them for a wrench so I could fix it. It has been that way for at least 4 years now. It is one of those small, but, vital functions to make the fountains awesome.

Families didn't eat out often 40 years ago, so when we did, it was an experience.
Having those car-hops deliver the food to your car (drive-in movie style) ranked right up there with any of the finer restaurants.

Oh, it was a major treat when my parents took us (4 kids) out anywhere for dinner, or a treat. :joyfull: We always ate at home; that's just the way it was. Even when we'd go on vacations (via car), my mother always packed a lunch in the cooler with thermoses full of milk. We'd always stop at roadside picnic table areas. I enjoyed those times at those outdoor picnic areas, because there were always animals to watch such as rabbits, squirrels, and birds. :) It never took much at all to entertain me! :p

Smiling selfies just look so odd. Trust me, I deleted it PRONTO!
I'm like - what are you smiling at fool?
You would be smiling because you look really good for a woman of your advanced years (runs and hides) and you have a husband that loves you, you have friends and get to go to WDW on a whim, apparently. You're planning to buy a condo in Florida and you go out to eat about every four seconds and take pictures of all your food. You have a pretty good life... smile, I doubt it will be seen as fake.

Plus... you kept your Christmas decorations up until the middle of March and no one, that I know of, suggested that you get fitted for a straight jacket.

I think even longer than 4 years.
