That story actually came to mind. I saw it on Mythbusters. It was just a small coin but it gained speed as it fell and embedded in the concrete.
I dont think a small coin coil gain that much speed. All items should reach a terminal velocity based on the structure, shape and solidity.

I have a friend that flies home to Australia twice a year. It takes him 23 hours to go from Cleveland.

big no no no no no.. 23 hours? in a plane? D:

Hair - 1
JenniferS - 0

I went to Tammy's tonight and had her cut it all off.
It's a smidge too short, but should be fine in a week or two.
So.. are you going all military on us Jennifer?

She graduated from hair-cutting and cosmetology school a few years before I met her.
She only does it part-time, on the side now, because as a single parent she had to have a reliable, steady income and haircutting was too up and down. She has had her current office job for approx. 12 years.

So, short answer ... yes. And no.
maybe that's why she cut your hair a tad too short.

She cut in her "down" economy moment ;)

Yes this is the the Grove I'm talking about. So it's unclear to me online, is it a buffet every night? It seemed to be a different buffet every night but you can also order entrees?
It's a different buffet every night You can order entrees and not get the buffet, it costs $10-15 more. I honestly wouldn't pay that extra to do the entree because the buffet had a lot of options and if you didn't like something you can pick a different item. With an entree you get what you get.

I remember visits to the A&W drive-in back in the day. :hungry: Good memories. :)

Years after this went out of "style", there was one location in MA (probably the last location anywhere that kept up the tradition for many years) that still had waitresses in roller skates. They'd bring the tray of root beer, etc., to the car. The tray had clips on it, that would clip on to the driver's side door, (rolled down) window. It was really fun!! I'm sure it's long gone now. :(

You never say "nice guy"...
a "nice guy" is someone who tries to be WAY TOO NICE to women to get sexual favours back lol.
they are the usual ones who complain "I was a nice guy!" when they get friendzoned after they tried to make their move.
At my age the only sexual favor (favour) that I am after is to leave me the hell alone! Hence the single status.

This is the way it has always been at our A&W since it opened in the 60s. (No rollerskates though.) I remember when we were little us kids would pile in the back of the pickup after baling hay and get treated to floats for working hard. Our A&W has twenty parking stalls, a few picnic tables and a small inside dining. Every other week are Classic Car Cruise-ins. :)
