When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
:hilarious: I really would have loved to have met your pop. :)
My mom was the kindest person you could ever meet, and my dad was the coolest, most easy-going, fun guy.

Next to Hubby, my mom was my best friend, and her passing has left a giant hole in my life.
My dad was my true hero; his passing has left a giant hole in my heart.

I am truly blessed to have had them as my parents.

What? Not true?
Now we for sure have to test it out.

We'll all meet there and let @JenniferS drop the penny. That way, when the authorities try to trace the body slicing penny, they will find out it has the fingerprints of a polite Canadian that could never have possibly done such a thing, and will believe it's some vast conspiracy involving evil-doers, and none of us. It's FOOL PROOF...!!! :joyfull: :cautious: :cyclops: ;) :)

Plus, they'll never suspect me. Canada doesn't circulate pennies anymore!

Might be your computer. It's fine for me. How are other sites running?

If it keeps running slowly, turning it off and back on again may help. So many computer issues, especially slowness, can be solved by turning it off and back on again.
It just seemed to fix itself without doing anything. However, it is close to time to shut it down anyway. If it's still a problem tomorrow I'll check into it. Right now I'm suspecting my AT&T provider.

Wow! Is that ferris wheel someplace in Chicago? Did you ride on it?! I like to swing the cars when you get up to the top of the ferris wheel! :D

You would! :cautious: The Ferris Wheel is at Navy Pier-Chicago which is also where the Flower and Garden show was at along Bubba Gump, fun day.

You'd be had pressed to swing these though, they are not seats they are gondolas. Where there is normally open air with bars theirs is encased in Plexiglas so nobody is falling out and nobody is tossing stuff at those below.
The Ferris wheel is 150 feet tall and it is continuous load so it never stops. There are 40 gondolas and each gondola fits 6 people. I did not go on the Ferris Wheel today though but it was full of patrons today.

The pier you can easily spend a day exploring it. It also houses The Chicago Childrens Museum up front. The pier is under renovations right now leading up to its 100th anniversary next year. The pier closed to the public though during WW2. It was operated by the Navy for training. When it reopened the University of Illinois occupied a chunk of the pier for 20 years for a 2 year degree program aimed at returning soldiers re-entering the work force. Now it holds convention space an I Max, Shakespeare theater, an atrium for year round green, all sorts of unique shops and restaurants. Even the parking garage is dual purposed, it has a running track along the outer most walls giving joggers a roof and a beautiful view of the lake while jogging.

Well, they were there first, no need to ask them to leave, they'll just come back to go through the garbage that all the civilized tourists thought to just toss out.

Speaking of which, when in Florida a few weeks ago, I came out of my hotel and right near the entrance was what I thought was a raccoon. It had the face of a raccoon, but the body was different. It seemed less "furry" and it's hind quarters were higher (longer rear legs) then any raccoon I had ever seen. Anyone have any idea what animal looks like a raccoon but isn't?
