Funny part is that even my boss was pi**ed at him when I later told him.

I honestly do not expect anything from him now on.

Worse is that he later told me his mother had given him a good reprimanded despite telling my boss not to talk to him about this. anyway he was between apologetic and not being apologetic at all (excusing his need to get the oil changed)

As for illness, I'm almost recovered I think. I'm still taking medicine.

In the good side, the doctor still says I do not need surgery at all for my eye. Gave me some new drops, which I will take for 4 days and vitamins. Well see how it goes from there.
I'm so happy you don't need surgery sending an extra dose of pixie dust

I have discussed faith and the ability to believe in things we cannot see with my kids. I have used air and molecules as examples. We cannot see them with the naked eye, but we know they exist. Sure faith is a little deeper than that, but it is an example in knowing something exists without seeing it. There is a great educational history docuseries called Drive Through History. I purchased it for my kids when they were studying ancient lands. It also has an American history video as well. The historian takes audience to places like Israel, Egypt, Italy, etc. and discusses history in a fun and exciting way. He shows the ancient ruins and discusses parts of the Bible that pertain to them. It might be something for T to watch. It always made light bulbs go off in my head. There are some episodes on YouTube.

Thank you! We will watch it tonight.
Your idea of air and molecules is a wonderful lesson point.

My priest actually said that this is one of the reasons that kids question more than when I was a kid myself, because they are exposed to so much more than we were. They have a harder time believing in a lot of things.
It happens when you get into your second childhood of old age as well. I really think that I doubt more, believe less and feel completely isolated in opinion and logic at this age then I ever have in my life. As a young child we believe pretty much everything we are told. We didn't have any choice or reason to believe otherwise. We learned and trusted pretty much anything anybody said to us. When we progress to puberty, we started to question conventional wisdom coming from our elders. But, as we grew into adult we were part of the elders that shaped us and we saw the world our own way tainted by what we were told combined with what we experienced and saw. Then we run into old age and we realize that a lot of the stuff we believed was BS and we saw things differently. Our focus changed to health concerns and once again we were forced to believe those that were in charge of keeping us alive. But, we do question the validity of a lot of things that we are told and are far more likely to be vocal and questioning. So for that we get labeled as grumpy old people. And we once again are treated like a child in condescending and insulting ways, like we are all children. I guess that is the real circle of life.
