The Chit Chat Chit Chat Thread

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Sympathy "like".
I didn't cry.
I drank my tea. Lovely.
Finished my book. Turned out okay.
Turned the light out at 3:37.
Was asleep by 3:36. :p
Up at 6:00.
Back to bed at 8:00.
Up again at 11:30.

On the plus side, I get to start a new book tonight!
And because I did not yield to the temptation of a 20 minute nap today, I might even be asleep by 2:30 tonight!

Ours closes on the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend (second Monday of October) and re-opens the first full weekend before Valentine's Day.
Hubby is there as I type. He had it in his head that we were having DQ cake (might pick one up tomorrow, no room in the freezer following the Costco trip yesterday to store it until the B'day Boy toodles in), so Mike is picking up Blizzards.
Oreo for Son #2 (who has still not eaten).
German Chocolate Cake for me.
I'm guessing he picks up Skor or Smarties for himself.

Just to refresh your memory - these are Smarties:

Not these:

What scares me about traveling is that I don't know what poisonous spiders and snakes are indigenous to the area I'm visiting. Now yes I know I can look this information up but that is a rational response to my irrational fear so, you know, that ain't happenin'.

We saw a snake in route to the pool area at POR in April last year. He high tailed it back into the mulch off the sidewalk.

So if I understand this correctly, someone threw a pizza up on a roof, and other people drive by the house to see it? Sorry, I'm confused; I must be missing something here . . . o_O
its a joke related to Breaking Bad I think?
but I bet people are annoyed by getting people leave the stained place with pizza and take photos of it?

Disney would be stupid not to capitalize on Frozen when they've got this huge, excessively popular movie.

Seeing as how there's a beanie baby Olaf on my bed, an Elsa doll on my nightstand, an Elsa painting that I need to hang over spring break on my wall, an Olaf cutout from last year's Frozen Summer at DHS on top of my nightstand, and I'm wearing a Frozen t-shirt (more because it was clean than that they announced the sequel today...) it seems to work.
The issue is, you seem to be one caught in the frozenfever.
I dont think many people are this fanatic in purchasing that much products.

I watched Beauty and the Beast again today. Two days in a row.

And then I listened to my Broadway Beauty and the Beast CD in the car.

I may or may not have very serious issues. :cautious:
nah, we sometimes love things so much and cling to them.
I remember watching kung fu panda 1 and 2 like 30+ times. I love them.. the songs as well.

right now I'm again in a FESTIVAL OF THE LION KING fever myself.
I watch the HD video at least once a day..
love the "the lion sleeps tonight" part.

"Walt Disney Co. CEO Bob Iger has shown he’s smart enough to lead a giant media and entertainment company. But apparently, he’s not smart enough to know how to respond to a curious child.

At the Disney annual shareholder meeting, held Thursday in San Francisco, a young girl in the audience asked Iger if the company would change the name of its Hollywood Studios theme park in Orlando. Iger confirmed that Disney would, only to realize that he wasn’t supposed to let the cat — or perhaps mouse? -- out of the bag just yet."
I actually wonder if that was stagged.

if it wasn't, then means its going to take A LONG WAY (a decade?) for DHS to be finally built for Star Wars.
Because, lets be honest.. Disney was WAY TOO MUCH (to lower construction costs) on building stuff.
and they love to make announcements of announcements of reveals of future projects.

Kinda fits what someone said in the spirited thread.

Disney is so busy making announcements of things the MIGHT build in the next 5 years..
while Uni is building every year..

This isn't the first time I've gotten caught up with Beauty and the Beast. Belle was my favorite princess growing up, initially because she has brown hair and brown eyes like me, but then also because she's smart and strong. I saw the stage musical (traveling version, Broadway Across America) when I was 5. I saw it again in high school. The Broadway CD is my vocal warm-up CD. Last year, I did the same thing with watching the movie over and over again...and I watched it on the plane back from WDW...and in WDW last year with my bff when we went in early.

Also, recall that my cat's name is Belle...

Yeah, I have problems.

That's what they do here too...relocate them unless they return and become a nuisance, but the military does not get involved...just the sheriff's office or police.

ETA: don't know how that gif got there....I had tried to post it earlier and got an error message that it wasn't a supported file extension. BTW...what kind of cat is that? box-ear? or something like that? Its cute.
There are videos of 3 cats (yours is one) that are famous for "begging" politely to get petted or get food.
one of them as a deaf owner (hence why he sort of learned sign language)

as for military.
Our normal offices like the animal control.. are very ill equiped due of budget constraints.
hence why they need military gear to move that gigantic 3 meter (1 ton? ) crock.

Believe me, some are. And that's just from observing the merchandise flying off the shelves at WDW. And then at DHS last year with the Frozen Summer Fun event...trying to get into Wandering Oakens was a pain, unless you went later in the day. And just the sheer popularity of the Elsa costume. Like little Elsas everywhere. My nieces, all of them, and brother are also obsessed. And the fact that every day, you'll see at least one Frozen reference on the internet, most likely.

It doesn't seem to be going away any time soon.
