I really think you are pretty amazing. I have another friend who homeschools and I just wonder how you do it. I don't think I could. I LOVE spending time with my kids, but sometimes I need a break. Especially with DS...he can really be a handful. I don't think I could handle having him home ALL the time. And I know that sounds so bad, but before he started school, there were days where I was so frazzled when he had had 15 meltdowns in a day, and I just would be in tears when DH came home. Once he was in school, I wasn't dealing with meltdowns all day every day. I can't imagine going back to that. I NEED the break that school gives me. I think you are superwoman to do what you do.
Those were some really kind words. Thanks. I don’t want to be super woman though. I have realized lately that I cannot do everything and stress myself out. I need to make time for me everyday and the kids now know not to bug me when I do yoga and meditate. That is my time.

But 2 of the kids are old enough to be "helpful". Live in cook and housekeepers;)
If it is me that was directed at, my granddaughter is a great pastry chef, but, my diet would consist mostly of cakes. Not a bad short range idea, but, I don't think it would be a wise long range plan. My grandson on the other hand only has two useful skills. The first being video games which would be his entire life if allowed and the other skill is sitting at the table waiting for something to eat. Yet, he is so skinny that if he turns sideways all you see is a narrow line. If he sticks his tongue out he looks like a zipper.

I have enough to do just staying upright plus I live 22 miles away from everything that they are involved with plus I only have a two bedroom apartment and one of them is my office. My apartment is just a little bigger then their tent. However, one person instead of five can make a difference. I do know a 16 year old girl that has vowed to never, ever, ever, ever go camping again as long as she lives. I'm with her.

When I was a kid my dad was a camping fanatic. I have not done that again for over 45 years and have no immediate plans to do any for the next 45 years.
Same here. My mom loved camping and we went every year, sometimes multiple times a year. It was so much cheaper than a hotel. But I don't ever plan on sleeping in a tent ever again unless I absolutely have to. And cooking over a campfire is highly overrated!!

Being much older then you folks, staying at the most modern campground in those days meant that you had to use literal "out houses" that were in the campground. (no flush toilets) Those facilities had single light bulbs in the ceilings that attracted every insect know to mankind and the areas had to be open for the ventilation required. It also had every species of spider living in there as well. Good times.

It starts tomorrow.. 2 games Saturday, and (hopefully) 2 games Sunday if they make the final for a 4th game.

Apparently there was a lot of drama at the club, not only the coach change up.. but we only have 3 returning boys. Curious to see how this new team plays together.

I have to miss the first game tomorrow for sure :( .. but hoping I can make it to the second!!

Soccer season here we come. 🙃

Are you there with your family?
Yup. They got down here yesterday. The guys hadn't been driving my mom too crazy. The last time I got off the bus, and she was like, "I'm so glad you're here. Your father and brother are driving me crazy." Then the next day, she was like, "Take your brother. I've had it. Just take him." Funny thing was he was better behaved for me than he had been for them.

How nice. Love employers that go the extra mile to make their employees happy. It cuts both ways.

Have a wonderful time. Send pictures please.
Many things annoy me about my job, but I cannot ask for a better boss. I basically asked for an extra vacation day and she was like, "Yup, whatever, go have fun." It doesn't hurt that she also loves Disney. She goes about once a year.

Having to be in the area I went back to my young adult days where my first condo was before I was married.

Stopped in at the awesome but hole in the wall Chinese restaurant that I loved. Same people just older like me. So yummy was the flashback in time. I loved the area and still do.
