Happy wet Farm Market Saturday, then the local health food store for their big back to school sale. I saw that nondairy cheese and organic chips are going to be almost given away and finally to an unboxing party for the new purty sewing machine. I have to go there anyway so seeing everybody in the door gets to pick a mystery bag why not. Probably thread or fat quarters but if it's free it's for me;)

Stay safe!

Officially I go back the last Tuesday of the month which I think is the 28th. But I'm going in for a meeting this coming Tuesday, I get paid for the meeting though so that will be nice. My niece is visiting this weekend, but I plan to relax and get some projects done next week. Live up the last week of freedom!! It has gone so fast!
It always does.

I have enough to do just staying upright plus I live 22 miles away from everything that they are involved with plus I only have a two bedroom apartment and one of them is my office. My apartment is just a little bigger then their tent. However, one person instead of five can make a difference. I do know a 16 year old girl that has vowed to never, ever, ever, ever go camping again as long as she lives. I'm with her.

When I was a kid my dad was a camping fanatic. I have not done that again for over 45 years and have no immediate plans to do any for the next 45 years.
For me camping is in a modern camper with a kitchen, bathroom, tv’s and wifi. :joyfull:

It starts tomorrow.. 2 games Saturday, and (hopefully) 2 games Sunday if they make the final for a 4th game.

Apparently there was a lot of drama at the club, not only the coach change up.. but we only have 3 returning boys. Curious to see how this new team plays together.

I have to miss the first game tomorrow for sure :( .. but hoping I can make it to the second!!

Soccer season here we come. 🙃
Did anything come from your interview?

Blame it on b reasts. If women didn't have any they would be less thought of as the one that provides nurturing and direct care. Social roll assignment. You know, men are supposed to be out building a better world (until recently) while women are relegated to making sure that the future (male) generations continue to be solid productive parts of the society to have the world continue on with no gaps and to be a roll model for the female offspring.

In my family, I have one of each. One of my girls stays at home and cares for the castle and kids (including home schooling) and the other is out in the business world and is the main support of her family. Her husband was never a stay at home Dad, just didn't have the earning capability that she has. Both feel guilty about their choice for exactly the opposite reasons. It is a tough world to live in.

Great post. Covered the entire spectrum. Love what your daughters and hubs are doing -- making the best decisions based upon their own circumstances, and not upon what some others think they should do. Kudos to your family.

Not to mention having to hike a while to get to that outhouse....or you just had to go in the woods. The campgrounds we went to did not have modern conveniences like showers or toilets. You went to the creek and splashed frigid water on yourself to get "clean" and if you had to go to the bathroom at night, you had to grab your flashlight so you didn't step on some animal or in poison ivy, etc.
I remember one year, my mom decided we were going to catch trout for our dinner so she had to pack less food....and then she proceeded to burn it to a crisp...she had never cooked trout over a fire before and she overestimated the time it needed to cook. It was HORRIBLE. I don't like fish at the best of times, but even my brother, who has never met food he didn't like, wouldn't touch it.
We really roughed it when we went camping.
Sympathy like. My dh doesn’t have the best memories of camping as a kid either.

I do love the theming, but I love the solitude of the campground. There isn't super theming obviously there compared to one of their regular resorts, but it is beautiful in its own way. The bonus is the watercraft service.

Although I've never stayed at the campground, I have stayed (a few times) at WL. I'd go over to the campground a few times (via boat or walkway, or even bus passing through), and I loved the peaceful atmosphere. I liked the buffet they had at the restaurant there. (Years ago, they had a nice luncheon buffet, but now I believe they only do a dinner buffet.)

The only reason I never stayed there was because a cabin would be too big for one person, and I don't do RV/camping. A room over at WL was a better choice for me, at the time.

Today's Random Post Topic: "USER NAME & PASSWORD"

Why does so much of everyday life require a User Name & Password???
*
In my e-mail, Verizon Fios stated "we have a special savings offer for you if you renew 4 months early."
"Click HERE to view the offer"
.............LIE :(...........it just brings me to a screen asking for my user name and password

Linkedin sent me an e-mail that 2 people have searched my name this week.

I'm so glad when I'm ready to put dirty clothes in my washing machine it doesn't require that I provide a user name and password.:)

Can I give you a big High Five on that one?!! MAJOR pet peeve of mine--can't STAND IT!!! :banghead: What all these companies, etc., are doing is making the customer enter their own data, so that the company can get rid of more of their own staff--that used to do this for the customer. (Here's another dinosaur term for you: "Customer Service" -- the real kind.) :cautious:

And I can also tell you that I have probably forgotten 80% of all passwords I've entered, and then freak out when I can't get into something. I was always afraid that if I wrote them down, they'd be found by some mysterious thief who was after my millions of dollars . .. :hilarious:
