That little finger of land on the right is where the airport is. Planes seemed to keep comin’ in one after another...until I remembered to try to get a pic of one...then, they seemed to stop...!!!!! :cyclops: :hilarious:

That water is just beautiful. Was it shallow there? It looks shallow in the last picture.

No
This morning.
Adding to this post (because I answered as I was getting on PofTC) I was supposed to leave tonight, but we were expecting some nasty weather and Southwest recommended changing my flight to this morning. So my boss gave me permission to take an extra day off. I did work at the airport and on the ME bus. At MK now; going over to Studios later.

Funny (maybe?) story warning... :cyclops:

After snorkeling, they took us to a restaurant just off the cliffs where we had just an app sampler and I have no pics. :cyclops: I left my phone in the stateroom safe that morning because I thought I would be snorkeling too, so all of the pics in the last post were ones I took with yongest DDs phone. And, she’s not really a food pic taker anyway...! ;)
Anyhoo, when leaving the restaurant, our cat was tied up beyond another one...so we had to cross that one to get to ours. Well you can probably guess what happened...DS sat down on the first cat, as we were distracted with getting Aunt and MIL on the right boat.
It wasn’t until our boat started pulling away that we noticed he was on the wrong boat...!!!!! :hilarious:
And, that boat was definitely going nowhere near back to our ship...!!!!!!! :joyfull:
Woof!!!!!
Luckily, he came with a sense of humor too...!!!!! ;)

Are you there with your family?

When we were heading back to the ship after the snorkeling excursion, the sky’s started to get ominous. By the time we were getting off the cat the bottom dropped out...it was like a water park on steroids...!!!!! :hilarious:

Also, of course, we couldn’t get back to the ship the simple way we got to the cat after we got off that morning...we had to go a long way around to go back through another checkpoint (I know why, just got myself a good soaking while escorting 2 young ladies with umbrellas and mobility issues through all of that, but, the warm rain felt gooood...!!! ;))

Anyway, continuing on with next post...

Those ominous skies over Montego Bay once we were back on the ship...

Continuing with more rain as we were on the Lido deck chillin’...it was actually very soothing and relaxing, at that point, and was the only part of any day we had rain on the entire cruise...!!!!!

Isn't it also early for their promotions, or is it different for Europeans?
It's different here, but the big promo here is the free dining, which you can't do for fewer than 5 days, and that promotion is already over. We booked that, but the Poly is on my bucket list, and I just want to stay one night there. We were planning on just doing one night at the end of our vacation so we can have Magical Express transportation back to the airport. We have 2 weeks at Disney, then we will go do something else in Orlando, then go to Universal for a few days, and then the plan is to go back to the Poly for that one night and fly out the next day. We would rent a car at the Swolphin for the week we're not at Disney, then turn it back in and check into the Poly. But I don't want to pay $1500 for one night.

I had no idea one of your girls homeschools. I too have felt guilty at times with not helping bringing in money, but dh and I made the decision together. I am glad though that I get to spend more time with my kids than most people do. I know some are thrilled when the kids get back to school, but even with all that goes into having them at home all the time, I wouldn't change it.
I really think you are pretty amazing. I have another friend who homeschools and I just wonder how you do it. I don't think I could. I LOVE spending time with my kids, but sometimes I need a break. Especially with DS...he can really be a handful. I don't think I could handle having him home ALL the time. And I know that sounds so bad, but before he started school, there were days where I was so frazzled when he had had 15 meltdowns in a day, and I just would be in tears when DH came home. Once he was in school, I wasn't dealing with meltdowns all day every day. I can't imagine going back to that. I NEED the break that school gives me. I think you are superwoman to do what you do.

In your case if all you were was frazzled you are super woman. Just getting a proper diagnosis for him was pretty super.
