That little finger of land on the right is where the airport is. Planes seemed to keep comin’ in one after another...until I remembered to try to get a pic of one...then, they seemed to stop...!!!!!

Adding to this post (because I answered as I was getting on PofTC) I was supposed to leave tonight, but we were expecting some nasty weather and Southwest recommended changing my flight to this morning. So my boss gave me permission to take an extra day off. I did work at the airport and on the ME bus. At MK now; going over to Studios later. This morning.

How long you going to be down here?Adding to this post (because I answered as I was getting on PofTC) I was supposed to leave tonight, but we were expecting some nasty weather and Southwest recommended changing my flight to this morning. It's different here, but the big promo here is the free dining, which you can't do for fewer than 5 days, and that promotion is already over. We booked that, but the Poly is on my bucket list, and I just want to stay one night there. We were planning on just doing one night at the end of our vacation so we can have Magical Express transportation back to the airport. We have 2 weeks at Disney, then we will go do something else in Orlando, then go to Universal for a few days, and then the plan is to go back to the Poly for that one night and fly out the next day. We would rent a car at the Swolphin for the week we're not at Disney, then turn it back in and check into the Poly. But I don't want to pay $1500 for one night.Isn't it also early for their promotions, or is it different for Europeans?
I really think you are pretty amazing. I have another friend who homeschools and I just wonder how you do it. I don't think I could. I LOVE spending time with my kids, but sometimes I need a break. Especially with DS...he can really be a handful. I don't think I could handle having him home ALL the time. And I know that sounds so bad, but before he started school, there were days where I was so frazzled when he had had 15 meltdowns in a day, and I just would be in tears when DH came home. Once he was in school, I wasn't dealing with meltdowns all day every day. I can't imagine going back to that. I NEED the break that school gives me. I think you are superwoman to do what you do.I had no idea one of your girls homeschools. I too have felt guilty at times with not helping bringing in money, but dh and I made the decision together. I am glad though that I get to spend more time with my kids than most people do. I know some are thrilled when the kids get back to school, but even with all that goes into having them at home all the time, I wouldn't change it.
How nice. Love employers that go the extra mile to make their employees happy. It cuts both ways.So my boss is fine with this situation...
