I cruised by a post a coupla’ day’s ago (when I was at the office, so couldn’t respond :cautious:) about a 30,000 sq. ft. house having too small of a kitchen. Quickly pulled up the pics, and it did indeed look a bit small for that many sq. ft.
Reminded me about a kitchen we designed for a 21,000 sq. ft. mansion we designed 20 years ago in ‘98 for a car dealer, that, IMO, wasn’t too small...! ;)
Here’s a shot of the general area of that home on the main floor. The kitchen is, essentially, the size of 2 kitchens. There is also a wet bar to the left of the kitchen, a butler pantry below off the formal dining room, and a large walk-pantry just to the right of that...

And, a closeup of just the kitchen...! :)

This person I had to deal with today...I explained that we have no licenses for this particular program available and that she needs to purchase it. Apparently that didn't make sense via email, so she called me. I explained to her over the phone that she had to purchase it. She argued that her coworker didn't have to purchase it, so she shouldn't either. Then, I put her on hold so that I could talk to my coworker. We tracked down verification that her coworker did purchase it. I got back on the phone and said, "Your coworker purchased on this date. We're having everyone purchase as we don't have any licenses available." She was still confused (we gave her a PDF with links to purchase. What is confusing about that is beyond me.) So I gave her the contact info of our rep at the vendor.

But wait, there's more...

Then, she emails the technician working on her PC. "Here's the quote, please install this for me." Which he can't do anything about;; he's waiting on us for confirmation that he can install the program He was going to respond, but we said "Don't even bother. We've already told her."

But wait, there's more...

She then put in a ticket into our request software for the program. "Here's the quote, please install." Not realizing that I go through there a couple of times a day and pick up the tickets belonging to my team. So I emailed her back, "As I explained on the phone..." And cc'ed my boss at that point.

In conclusion, I hate people.

@21stamps Best grooming brush out there. Come in two sizes you’d want the smaller one that is slightly curved.

If I may suggest:

When brushing him start on his back where it meats tail push fur forward in direction of head Then brush from roots pulling back toward tail. Do this in inch strips moving toward head. Then belly. Same thing moving from above private area by inch and to throat. Move up throat inch by inch to chin. Face/snout part first closest to eye moving in small clumps of fur to nose. ears from bottom to where meets head. Front legs like a 2x2 4 sides. Back first. Move from bottom to where meets torso then outside and repeat around four sides. Front of leg start carefully on top of paw. Arm pits hold up by his front paws and that will let you do arm pits that are tender areas. Back leg start on outside bottom to top be careful of skin that attaches leg to torso. then paw on up. Inside leg easier to brush by lifting opposite leg to reach inside of legs. Back start at back hock and move upward being more gentle with rump fur. Tail start at tip and move toward rump.

The brush is a slicker that removes the dead under coat that causes the matting. By starting at the bottom of limbs and furthest back point of back and tummy it creates less tugging on roots of fur and dramatically cuts down on brushing time. Once a week should do it unless he gets real wet in rain snow. If that happens brush him after he dries out. I also recommend a thick conditioner after shampooing if you ever do that at home. Prevents matting.

Hope that helps :inlove:

Was talking to my son today. He had issues with his IT leader. Same thing that happens every year in August but he is new and the only variable that is new is him. The dude melted down with my son in front of both of their Superintendents that they both report to but my son has been there for so long and she knows him. The Super and him left the stupid melt down together as she says to my son, I'll fix it tomorrow 'cause he is missing the big picture, we need to make things work not crash. Tomorrow should be interesting day in HELL. 24 year old vs the woman they report to 55 and 30 years on the job being told basically to shove it.

Was there a full moon or what?

Glad you get to Go soon. You need it too.

What is the drink part?

According to Disney's Press release today:

Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies (available daily through October 31)
We didn’t just stop at candy corn ice cream. This year we’ve created the Candy Corn Milkshake! The perfect Halloween treat – it’s topped with cotton candy and a Mickey-shaped marshmallow.

One of my friends here works and her husband is a SAHD. And one of my high school classmates' wife walked out on him and their kids, so he has sole custody of them. He does work, but somehow he is always available to help the kids with homework, be at their school events, etc. He up and moved to Texas and had no one to help...I think he's pretty amazing for doing what he did. So I do know it happens, even if it isn't common. I think it would be more common if there weren't the stigma attached to it. But I could be wrong.

It does go both ways husbands or wifes. I too know of both. Sad and disturbed people. I have more respect for those who want out and do that before taking on a Mistress (or whatever the label is for the reverse) before they live a life of have maintaining both. No matter if it is a man or woman having a spouse and an 'extra' I can't wrap my brain around. No excuses for that type of behavior. Own it. I know our supreme leader is making it 'chick' thing to do but who wants to be like 'that' guy???if your done to the point of having both be honest and bail don't do that to a spouse. Creepity.
