So like I said, if he had avoided that type of stress on his body and was aware of his own physical limitations at that point, what the hell was he doing running. If he had sat on the couch at home watching road runner cartoons he might still be here to post on the board. Just confirms... exercise is bad for your health.

My recent experience with Sepsis managed to tell the doctors one thing and that was that my heart and blood vessels were in good shape for 70 years old. My pulse was 140 and my blood pressure was 68/23 and yet I had no heart pain and it still managed to pump enough blood to keep me conscience although I could not catch my breath like I had just run a marathon myself. I would be lying if I were to state that in spite of living a life of no concern about my health and well being (smoked for 45 years, rarely exercised, ate excessively with no concern for fats, cholesterol or anything else obviously didn't cause any problems. The fact is that if I had lived the life of a health fanatic or did what I actually did there still is a chance that I might wake up dead in the morning. Unfortunately, they don't issue life scripts at birth.
I am glad you are alive and kicking.

Here’s one of my all time favorite songs, and what I’ve been using to teach merengue to T since toddlerhood..

https://lyricstranslate.com/en/suavemente-softly.html

Softly
Kiss me softly

I want to feel your lips
kissing me one more time

Kiss me softly
I want to feel your lips
kissing me one more time

Kiss me, Kiss me
Kiss me one more time
I want to feel your lips
kissing me one more time
Kiss, Kiss
Kiss me a little
kiss, kiss, kiss,
kiss me a little while

——

Totally stupid. :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

But.. now it’s amazing and fun-

(I’ve included a dance-along if anyone here wants to do it ;) )

How fun! I love that! The music is great and sounds super happy. :)

I hear you. I've been dealing with the bursitis in my hip now for 3 years. I'll feel better for a bit, and then I step wrong and I can't walk for a couple of days. And it started when I had been doing daily workouts for 3 months....in which time I managed to lose a whopping 5 lbs....in 3 months of daily 1 to 1.5 hour workouts. It's quite demotivating. And yet I keep trying.

Never give up.

I can’t remember if I’ve told this story here.. but T had to do a book on an influential person last year.. class went to the library to choose a book..
Comes home and takes out his chosen book..
Justin Bieber!!!!!

I said “What?!?!”

“Mom, I wanted Abe Lincoln, but someone else chose him first. I decided to choose this guy because I like his hair.”
:hilarious::hilarious:
I remember!:hilarious:

Well this is shaping up to be a PRETTY good evening. Going in now. PS - I usually don't get starstruck but if Julia Roberts and/or Richard Gere are in the audience or at the party, I may have a heart attack, so it's been nice knowing you!

Well, aren't you lucky?!! I don't think I'd ever get invited to an opening night party -- so how does it feel to be on the "A" list? :D P.S.: Please don't forget about all us little people, now that you're hanging out with celebrities. ;)

Totally jealous! I had a crush on Richard Gere after Pretty Woman. You are probably having a ball at the theater right now. Enjoy!! Oh, and please don't die.;)

Ohhhhhh! Ok! Yeah, I remember now. It's in Neptune township. My 2 oldest were born at Jersey Shore MC.
Yes.....Ocean Grove is a historic community that is inside of Neptune. Neighboring to Ocean Grove is the concert venue "The Stony Pony".....an Asbury Park venue where Bruce Springsteen has performed. I remember back in my high school days that rumors would fly around my school: "Bruce is gonna perform at the Stone Pony". Yet....9 times out of 10 people would go just based on the rumor and then he wasn't there. I guess that the 1 time out of 10 he was there...well that kept the rumors goin' :cool:
