Yes.....Ocean Grove is a historic community that is inside of Neptune. Neighboring to Ocean Grove is the concert venue "The Stony Pony".....an Asbury Park venue where Bruce Springsteen has performed. I remember back in my high school days that rumors would fly around my school: "Bruce is gonna perform at the Stone Pony". Yet....9 times out of 10 people would go just based on the rumor and then he wasn't there. I guess that the 1 time out of 10 he was there...well that kept the rumors goin'

.........and btw, @MySmallWorldof4 , my one and only child was born at Jersey Shore Medical Center as well. So it IS a "small world" ;)
:joyfull: It would be even smaller if myself and your wife used the same ObGyn group. Mine was on 35 in Wall Township.

Oh no! Don't be a goner -- that could be fatal. (I know mortality is the topic of the week, but I don't think your time is up just yet! :hilarious: )

From Dictionary.com:
  1. a person or thing that is dead, lost, or past recovery.
:p

Hahaaa...!!!!! :hilarious:
I’m still here...somehow... :cyclops:;)
And yes, every time I use that word in my sign off post I think... “Hope that doesn’t turn out to be unintentional foreshadowing... :cyclops:“...!!!!! :hilarious::cautious:;):)

The man that was on call when my wife gave birth was of Filipino heritage. Might have been Dr Mendoza?? .....and.....I am NOT sure about the Pineland name. It just might have been Lake shore.
My earlier statement was wrong. Pineland is in my home town but back in 2001 my wife went to Wall....and Lake shore sounds correct. ..........Cue the music: "It's a small world af-ter all"

Ha! Mine was born in 2001. I think mine was Lakeshore. The name may have changed after the owner sold off to the corporation that ran the hospital.
So I finally filled Mrs. Steve in on this. She said: "yes hon, Lakeshore". The woman doctor was Elizabeth Brownell. I went to Lakeshore's current website.....none of the three doctors from 2001 are still there. Not surprising I guess.

I cruised by a post a coupla’ day’s ago (when I was at the office, so couldn’t respond :cautious:) about a 30,000 sq. ft. house having too small of a kitchen. Quickly pulled up the pics, and it did indeed look a bit small for that many sq. ft.
Reminded me about a kitchen we designed for a 21,000 sq. ft. mansion we designed 20 years ago in ‘98 for a car dealer, that, IMO, wasn’t too small...! ;)
Here’s a shot of the general area of that home on the main floor. The kitchen is, essentially, the size of 2 kitchens. There is also a wet bar to the left of the kitchen, a butler pantry below off the formal dining room, and a large walk-pantry just to the right of that...

And, a closeup of just the kitchen...! :)
