I loved WOM. For some reason, that one really stands out to me, from the first time I went to WDW with my mother (God rest her soul). Her spontaneous expressions of wonderment and fun rubbed off on me, as well. I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for that attraction.
That was my favorite from the first time we went when I was like....9. We rode it over and over. That and SSE and Imagination.

I'm a little jealous of you people with your weather in the 70's, we are in the high 80's and humid. It wouldn't be so bad but I caught some stupid summer cold. Humidity and nasal congestion aren't a good mix.
I'm so sorry you're unwell. Please take a jammie and good movie day for yourself except for sending me any excess warm you have GWS xoxo

I never go on those bidding sites. Clearly, there was a method the last buyer had to buy the school books--seconds before the plug was pulled--sleazy. No thanks. Sorry to hear that you couldn't get the item.
My mother inlaw collects or did until she started to think about downsizing hand crafted items. Some of which can be rather pricy so my FIL learned to become a good bidder and got almost everything he ever went after. That being said I'm sure it's nothing like the cut throat world of school supplies right before the start of a new school year. We don't start for a few more weeks and the school supply sections at both Target and Walmart looked like black friday:eek:

Thanks, all, for the condolences. She was a great lady and I will miss her.

As for my cousin, I'm so glad he's recovering. He has always been so active, so it's got to be difficult for him to not be able to walk, etc. He moved from Illinois to Wyoming just for the outdoor opportunities like skiing and hiking. And it had to be scary for his family...we was biking with his wife and his 2 daughters, so they saw it happen. I can't imagine...I would panic. So it's so great that he's doing so well. I hope he'll eventually be able to get back to doing the things he loves.
