I have to catch up later, but just wanted to share a neat story.

My neighbor is in her early 50s, been amicably divorced for 13 years, and was in a serious relationship for the past 6, told me a few years ago that she never expected to fall in love like this, that she believed he was her soul mate. The guy was younger, young 40s, great guy. He died from cancer last year, diagnosed not even 8 weeks prior to his death.

She’s been very strong through it. Her daughter took a semester off to come home and stay with her. Now daughter is back at school.

So I just get home and see a pop up camper in her driveway.. and see tables full of wood and flooring outside. She bought an old camper, is completely renovating it, also having someone paint the exterior and text of “soul mate” as the name.. and then her and her friends are going to tow and travel around the country.

It brought tears to my eyes. Such a neat project and I know she’ll have loads of fun!! I wish her nothing but the best. Was so nice to see a big REAL smile on her face.

Very nice story. It never ceases to amaze me that people who have been through some really hard struggles in their life, can somehow make lemonade out of lemons -- and in doing so, inspire us all. Thanks for sharing that.

My phone and computer both made a noise I never heard either make before. Let's just say it was loud and annoying and I'm lucky not to have to replace both. Anyhoo it was for a severe flash flood warning. I'm home on top of the hill on top of the mountain. Hello computer, unless the whole state is under water don't bother me:grumpy: At this point I may as well stay up, get everybody up and ready to go and then try and sleep. Everything is getting shut down except for the land line
Blurg. Sorry. 😐

A few years ago the same thing happened during our town hall meeting. Mine iPhone ATT went off with the first batch of residents. For the next ten minutes the balance went off in segments of timed batches. Sadly the Sheriffs and Fire Chiefs went off after mine. That was the first forced over ride for an emergency that my phone or laptop on silent happened. Threw me for a loop. 😮

You'd hate my job. I have two major projects I'm working on right now. One is looking at purchase orders & invoices to determine the value of the assets purchased.

The other is looking at useage on a particular piece of software and looking at how many users are unlicensed and when we need to uninstall the program.

Lots of math. It's great. :hilarious:

I just came across a new word for me. In my Irish crime drama novel the character kept referring to his "bedsit". It is apparently a UK and Irish vocabulary word. Mr. Google taught me that it is a one room apartment with a bed,a place to sit and some simple cooking area.
