We love the store all for different reasons from the culture to anime to housewares and saki tasting:hungry: My grandparents had a saki they liked but as for me:hungover::hungover::hungover::hungover: It must have been cooking grade!

When I went to Epcot in June with my friend we tried this fantastic sake in Japan. Neither of us like regular sake but this sparkling peach was fantastic. We could have drunk a ton of it, but alas we did not. It didn't even taste like alcohol it was so light, bubbly and refreshing. I forgot to go back and get more when I went in July with the Hubs.

In 10 minutes my daughter and I are heading out on a 2 hr 40 minute road trip to Lancaster County PA. First stop Katie's Amish Kitchen Restaurant. 2nd stop is the real reason we are going. My daughter will have her first of many future college tours. The next two will be in early November. Today we will be touring Lancaster Bible College. Tour starts at 1PM. Done at 3PM.
It's raining here so we are gonna leave here momentarily so I can take my time on the road. I'll report back later.

Have fun! I'm sure you will enjoy that Amish Kitchen, since you were posting about that type of food a little while ago! :)

Have a great trip! I don't remember going on college tours when I was in 11th grade. That seems to be more of a thing now.
Yup. I went on most of mine in 11th grade. They expect you'll be deciding where to apply by the begining of senior year. The school I ended up picking I actually toured in senior year again, as well as the one I also was looking at primarily.

Exciting! I know in the case of my alma mater, I knew as soon as I went there that it was a good fit. Enjoy!

My yellow lab was classified as a giant longer and taller than most. 100# of happy pup. I had him at six weeks and was trained to walk at my left side by 8 weeks. Given my small size I had to train him to listen or it was all over. His brain only turned to Jello if the man across the road from me was outside then Walters brain turned to Jello if the dude was 6’4” and encouraged that. I still miss him a lot. Howled at all sirens

He knew how to walk himself.

He’d just go off and visit people on walks. A people pup.

So we didn’t plant cucumbers in our garden this year because they didn’t grow well last year. This year we planted just tomatoes and red peppers. Well our tomatoes haven’t turned and the ones that have have bottom rot. The peppers are all green with no spots of red yet. My sil said we have just had too much rain. Well, getting back to the cucumbers we didn’t plant I plucked these 3 from my garden this morning which came from 2 “ferrel” plants. ;):) Thinking of refrigerator pickles since @ajrwdwgirl mentioned them, or fermenting them like @figmentfan423 does.

I watched Nick at Night as a kid myself. I watched Mister Ed, and Dragnet on Nick at Night.

MeTV is the channel we watched those old TV shows on (I would record them on a laptop and cut out the commercials later). I remember I recorded every single Perry Mason, Batman, and Superman episode they played. Unfortunately, The Twilight Zone came on too late at night😕.
