All I can tell you is that the common mistakes are either too much or too little. There are some foods that interact differently with the sweetener, too. He's mentioned before that it's safer to start out a bit with a lesser amount. It's an entirely different sweetener than sugar, and you have to think differently when using it. Eventually you'll figure it out, but again, plan to go through some experimentation (and patience) before you get it right.
Think I should use the powder kind instead of liquid?

Thanks. That’s a good suggestion. The only other thing that our GI doc suggested was behavioral therapy. I did take him to see someone, and I had to fill out a million papers beforehand, but the behavioral therapist didn’t see any signs of anything to be concerned about. This has been going on for a few years, all I was told is that sometimes kids have stomach problems without a known medical cause. It sounds strange to me, but I trust them because I know the hospital is great.. you’re probably right though. It would be wonderful if he never had to deal with it and we could find a root cause.

As a side note, he does get a note for school every year.. stating that if he says he has to use the restroom he must be allowed to do so immediately. The school has been great about it.
I found my physician by going to this website. https://www.acam.org/ Just go to search in the header and you can input your location information.

I'm working from home and my grandfather stopped by. He's telling us about all this drama in my mom's extended family we aren't involved in. Me...

The drama...

My 19 year old second cousin eloped with her military boyfriend and up and moved to Colorado. Her parents found out through Facebook.

One of my mom's cousins was thrown off a cruise ship after getting into an altercation with his wife.

And her other cousin (this guy's brother) never appeared for a DUI hearing in PA, so he had a warrant out for his arrest, and then left the country on the cruise, so he ended up getting labeled as a fugitive and got held in New Jersey (where the cruise left from) for five days.

So really, my attention to the stories instead of, well, work, was completely valid.

And that side of the family wonders why we don't have more to do with them...

Hence your cat with the popcorn picture. Very fitting, and very amusing for me.

Very cool! Hubs bought a new backpack at WDW when we were there a couple weeks ago, he had been using a drawstring one but he wanted something more sturdy. I wish he had thought about it before we went then he could have gotten a Jansport one (I like their quality). But this is the one he got, it is a neat design and he is happy with it so I guess that is all that matters.

I will try that!! I’m desperate. I’ve put out soap bars around the deck and plants.. I also shed hair like crazy, so I take my hair from my brush and put it near the tomato plants.. that’s more for the pesky dear though.

I’ll try anything around the front stairs.. they’re already starting to cave in :( Nasty chipmunks.

Dust plants with Cayenne Pepper, ground with a mix of Cayenne and Hot Red Pepper flakes.
Rodents not a fan of the hot peppers. Next spring consider planting some where the problem wildlife tends to gravitate too.

Wildlife also dislikes the smell of Cider Vinegar. Careful where you use it and what you put it in, it will kill plants.

I, and a friend of mine, were riding bikes to a mall on a bit of a partial backroad, in north Austin in the summer of ‘78. It was about a 20 mile ride each way. Hey, we were young, strong, and crazy...!!! ;)
As we were on our way back on that stretch of road, a storm blew in. It started to pour buckets, and then about 50 yards in front of us, lightning struck a large oak tree in front of a house, and busted wood flew everywhere...!!!!!
We dropped our bikes and ran to that house...luckily, there was a family there and they let us little dorks ;) in to ride the storm out...!!!!! :hilarious:
Then, when it was all passed, we got back on our bikes and rode home.
And, yes, we made that ride many times back then, but, that was definitely the most fun one ever...!!!!!!! :joyfull: ;)

Though my problem is - how big can you get? Amazon has become the new evil corporate overlord taking over WalMart's position. Both Apple and Amazon are approaching 1 trillion dollars. Disney is by far the biggest tradition entertainment company. Netflix, I really have no idea why their stock price is so high.

I really hope Disney stays with Fox's artsy movies.

We shall see...most corporations try to grow and expand too much and then fall on harder times, look at last week with FaceBook.
$120 billion of Facebook’s overall stock. The FB loss was the largest daily dollar decline for a publicly held U.S. company in history. So there is that. They expect much slower growth due to a big crash in advertising on FB.

And then there is Twitter. They lost about 15% last week, again like FB weak advertising revenue as Twitter wipes out bogus twitter accounts, FB it trying to clean up its act too with bogus accounts.

So most of the time I look at firms like this, they have an awesome run for awhile and then uhoh! Disney has bought and sold so many companies over the decades I tend not to worry about them too much.

Yahoo was also considered a powerhouse on its time. nobody could stop its decline and had to sell most if not their worthy their assets.

Family! Good, Bad and Ugly.

Who could work when these stories are being told?
