I'm hoping there wouldn't be fireworks as long as last night. People were shooting of fireworks up to midnight last night in the area based on the sound I heard.

Rain and thunder stopped long enough for the parks to shoot off fireworks and they started on time around 9:15 p.m last night. I didn't see them though in a park since since the area was wet and I'm spoiled by Disney's fireworks.

Rain can be a blessing--it puts out fireworks! :D A few years ago, there was a lunatic who used to set off the super loud ones at times like 2 or 3 AM. Although I can't substantiate the outcome, a neighbor did mention that someone that lived up near the fireworks area, caught the guy and had a "discussion" with him . . . :jawdrop: (No more 2 or 3 AM fireworks after that . . .) ;)

Just finished watching "The Blob" from 1958 on TCM...!!!!! :hilarious: Haven't seen this ol' flick all the way through in ages...always reminds me of Sci-Fi Dine-In...!!! :)

You have discerning tastes in fine cinema. Turner CLASSIC Movies -- The Blob reached that elevated status just a soon as it was released, back in 1958, and remains at the pinnacle, of quality, educational movies that have withstood the test of time!!

Finally going to see Incredibles 2 tomorrow.

I'll be interested to see what you think of this movie. (My boss saw it recently and had some very definite comments about it.) So I'm interested on your impressions. P.S.: I've never seen either one.

I enjoyed it. It is not the best Pixar film though.

MK fireworks on the 4th were delayed until around 10pm, because of lightning. It didn’t really rain that hard for very long though. The fireworks were amazing and so worth the wait!

We are at
THNX for sharing
our first WiFi spot since my last posting on July 3rd. We are off the ship and on a 2 day land tour. Currently we have been taken from where the ship came to its final destination Seward Alaska....and now our motor coach has taken us to Anchorage. The WiFi is TOO WEAK for posting photos.....and sorry for the double posting...I am struggling with this slow loading and weak WiFi.
