Ha! I only had one beer today. A Sam Adams Summer Ale. . I guess I’m just tired, went to my sisters house which was good. Right now we are watching A Capital Fourth on PBS so I’m a little distracted by John Stamos!

Rain is delaying the MK fireworks right now. The live stream from Epcot shows some heavy rain. Hope the rain lets up soon. Guess I could watch John Stamos.

Back from mom and pops, and had an awesome time, as per usual...!!!!!!!

Was watchin' "National Treasure: Book of Secrets" on SYFY, now watchin' the last of the "Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular" on NBC, then back to National Treasure...!

Oh, and Joey Chestnut's bio. says that he is an American competitive eater. (How's that for a profession?!) He's ranked first in the world by Major League Eating. He's 6' 1" and 34 years old.

At this point I wonder how much life he has after abusing his body for such records.

Exact same weather here today. Our thermometer said 101 (we think it is off), but then it rained for a few hours. It is now 74. Huge difference. Bet the spread at the parents was incredible.

Glad the rain cooled things off for y'all, as it did for us!
The storms had passed by the time we left for my folks, but, along with the cool-down (mid 70's for us, too), it stayed overcast and muggy as heck.
Still a great day though, and, as you already know, the spread was indeed incredible...!!!!!

But, speaking specifically about the sausage, it was PERFECT!!!!! Just the right amount of everything...moisture of the meat, seasonings, snap of the casing, smokiness, etc...!!!!!!!
Making myself hungry for sausage leftovers...but, there were none...!!!!!
