Right now we are watching A Capital Fourth on PBS so I’m a little distracted by John Stamos!

Yes, he is distracting! I also saw quite a bit of the show, but also was flipping back and forth between that and the Boston Pops Esplanade concert. Both were excellent last night. (Also, the PBS Wash. DC show was repeated a few times, even up to early this morning, so I was able to catch any parts that I missed from last night.)

The Pops put on an outstanding show. My favorite headliner was someone I never heard of before -- Riannon Giddons -- and she was a m a z i n g!! (Normally, I don't listen to bluegrass. old time music, R&B, etc., but I was blown away by her performance.)

On another channel, Macy's (NY) had a good show, too, but I was more focused on the other two above. I did see Ricky Martin's performance in Las Vegas (apparently taped from a month ago) singing Livin' La Vida Loca. (Saw a news clip this morning that some people on Twitter were panning it -- not sure why, though.)

Back from mom and pops, and had an awesome time, as per usual...!!!!!!! :joyfull:

Was watchin' "National Treasure: Book of Secrets" on SYFY, now watchin' the last of the "Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular" on NBC, then back to National Treasure...! :)

I watched Asteroid on the UP channel. Whatever that is. One of those movies that are so bad, you can't stop watching. I watched a little of the Capital Fourth but didn't really care for it though I missed the Beach Boys.

I would have liked to have seen Ricky Martin, I like him a lot too. Missed the Boston pops though forgot to look for it on the hotel tv last night and I forgot to to record it too. I really enjoyed the PBS on they always do a good job.

Thanks! I’m on the Magical Express right now. I am surprising hubby with a late birthday present tonight, the Star Wars dessert party. He has been banned from looking at MDE since I made the reservation a couple weeks ago. He claims he doesn’t know and he is usually honest. Hope he enjoys it.

What a nice present. Considering what he does for a living, I am sure he is honest. Have fun. Will you be going on Slinky Dog?

He is an honest guy I could tell if he was lying, he is an easy read! We just got done eating lunch at Homecomin and there was so much goodness we are taking most of it back to the hotel before going to the Studios. Probably no Slinky dog today. I don’t have a fast pass for it, we do have one for Saucers though.

HAH!

Have a great day!

Thanks, it’s tough not to have a great day in Disney. 🙂

What a nice gift for him!! (Actually, you're probably there now. I think he'll be thrilled.)

I'm hoping there wouldn't be fireworks as long as last night. People were shooting of fireworks up to midnight last night in the area based on the sound I heard.

Rain and thunder stopped long enough for the parks to shoot off fireworks and they started on time around 9:15 p.m last night. I didn't see them though in a park since since the area was wet and I'm spoiled by Disney's fireworks.

Finally going to see Incredibles 2 tomorrow. And we talked Mom into going with us. She hasn't been with us since Monsters University came out.

Funny...she says to us, "I don't remember the last time I went to Cinemark." Which is our go-to movie theater; we never go anywhere else.
"Mom, you've never been to Cinemark."
"Well, that explains why I don't remember it.":hilarious: Which makes sense,; it opened in 2014; Monsters University came out in 2013.
