We had some mammoth thunderstorms around 1 AM, and they lasted a long time. Even hours after that, I couldn't get back to sleep. The dog was awake during the storms, but he's been snoozing for hours now. Meanwhile, I have to go to work in a few hours. :banghead:
Same here except a bit earlier and we sprung a leak in a wall:grumpy::grumpy::grumpy::grumpy: I got about a 2 hour nap this morning after holding a flashlight and assorted tools. The good news is it's fixed and patched, just waiting for it to dry to sand the paint over the small area of wall that needed to go.

I somehow pinched a nerve under my shoulder blade. I nursed it for a few days but this morning I woke up and my arm was numb so I went in. They gave me Prednisone, and it is the WORST tasting med I've ever had. But I can move my arm again, so that's helpful!
I laughed at the comment about it being the worst tasting drug ever. Yeah, sounds about right...before I stopped eating yogurt, I used to hide it in a spoonful of yogurt. It really helps minimize the taste. Now I just put it as far back in my mouth as I can stand it and swallow something flavored. Taking it with water makes it worse.

Don't expect to sleep well tonight. It really makes you restless. Glad your shoulder is starting to feel better, Prednisone is wonderful stuff

Yes, we’ll follow up with his pediatrician, but it should end there.

Oh my gosh.. oops!!!

He was so brave! A lot of kids and teens/adults were chickening out.. it looks much higher when you’re up there! I thought he may get scared once on the edge, but I think he wanted to do it to help the little boy behind him.

Definitely the pressure, it can happen during scuba diving as well.. I hope this isn’t something that he’ll be prone to, he won’t be able to become a diver if so. :( I’m going to think positive that it was only a one time thing.
I would be an adult that chickened out. Actually it would never occur to me to do that. ;)
Here’s some various comforting signs along our hikes. :cautious:

The crazy thing is, they say “don’t climb over the railings”, yet the railings are only at a few points.. none at all when you’re crossing the natural bridges. I’m glad I waited til T was 8 to bring him. I made him walk in front of me in the center. I did climb over quite a few railings.. but I always stayed about 6 inches from the edge.. maybe motherhood or just age has wisened me up to not feeling the need to dangle my legs off the side of a cliff.
6 inches from the edge? That would still be too close for me. Hope T is better today.

So don’t know if this is new or old news.
I was at Epcot by spaceship earth store TODAY and clerk was informing customer AP passes will no longer have block out dates but will have a certain amount of entries😖

That's really good news for the AP passes. (I'm not an AP guest, but I realize that a number of people on the forums here are, so I'm happy for them.) :)

Yikes! Too many danger signs for me.
