Perforated his ear drum while we were cliff jumping. The pain was intense, he cried like crazy.. but it was such a delayed cry.. finally cried himself to sleep while I went in search of an urgent care.. couldn’t find one, so we ended up having to drive to the closest hospital, an hour away. Both ears are now infected as well.Oh no! What happened?
They didnt give him painkillers? the pain of middle and inner ears is VERY HIGH.Perforated his ear drum while we were cliff jumping. He says they don’t hurt anymore, but unfortunately he can’t swim for at least two weeks until we see his regular doctor and find out if the perforation healed. We’re going to leave in the morning, we’ll come back when he can enjoy all of it.
Yikes.. hopefully he will get strong medicine, getting an infection is not fun.He did this 3 times.. perforated the ear drum on the last.

also wow.. when you say cliff jumping... as in going up a cliff and then jumping into water?

Specially if its dirty water that might contain that awful brain eating amoeba D:
wait.. no doctor???Ibuprofen as needed, but not in prescription form. Only the ear drops and we wait and hop for the perforation to heal, it should without having to see an ear nose and throat doctor.
You might ask why I'm up at 2am. I mowed my parents back grass in the afternoon and my nose has been blocked and I've been sneezing ever since.
Sorry to hear that. I just assumed you were still awake and celebrating Great Britain's soccer game win!

We had some mammoth thunderstorms around 1 AM, and they lasted a long time. Even hours after that, I couldn't get back to sleep. The dog was awake during the storms, but he's been snoozing for hours now. Meanwhile, I have to go to work in a few hours.
This is one spot of a hike.. I’ll post some from other hikes after we get home.
I wish we had those. We just had dinky few rumbles of thunder (typed thumber originally and laughed my head off) and that was it.
