Thank you for what you do, and thank you for caring. It is much appreciated, and I'm feeling much better. :)
Again, I'm usually very good about following up with any health issues that I have, or encounter. This time, I was just movin' along and not paying close enough attention. Things have been really busy lately and it just got away from me. I'll be much more attentive in the future.
Again, thank you so much for your input and concern. It is appreciated more than you know. :)
I think it's a guy thing. My mother reminds my father when he gets sick to take his meds and ca the doctor. Y'all are stubborn. ;)

Our previous PM Jean Chretien's wife confronted an armed (knife) intruder at their bedroom door one night, while the PM slept. Smart lady - slammed the door, locked it, and then woke up Hubby.
Security certainly increased following that incident. A bit.

But I'm sure if Jean Chretien needed to he could have given him the old Shawinigan handshake. :joyfull:

But your personality produces happiness for everyone around you, including here. So, regardless of what you think, you're still very much "producing" every day! ;)

I'm also sure the partners want you to get well and realize that everyone gets ill once in a while.

Wow, I just got a bit misty.
I'm human, and I have many not-so-good moments as well, but, I try to be nice most of the time. Life's too short not to be. You are such a sweet lady.
Thank you for that. :)

24 Sussex Drive, Ottawa - the home of the Prime Minister:

And from the Ottawa River, in behind:

You can actually get right up to the shoreline from the river.

Unlike in the U.S., this is 100% his home. There is no Oval Office equivalent, no tours that I know of. And a whole lot less security.

And then right across the street there's the Governor General's house, Rideau Hall, which is beautiful. I highly recommend taking the tour.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
But I'm sure if Jean Chretien needed to he could have given him the old Shawinigan handshake. :joyfull:

I gotta love someone who knows this stuff!
Yeah, the little guy from Shawinigan was a character all right.

Nothing that ever came out of W's mouth beats this:

"A proof is a proof. What kind of a proof? It's a proof. A proof is a proof. And when you have a good proof, it's because it's proven."

Yup even the Trappist Monks can't do much with marmalade. I love their jams, by the way. My favorites are their Blueberry Jam, and their Boysenberry Seedless Jam. (I've been known to take a spoon and just eat it plain, right out of the jar . . . :jawdrop: !! )

The Trappist Monks do this one VERY well...! :hungry:

Canada just fascinates me. I spend a lot of time reading about Canadian history and Canadian politics. My favorite class I ever took was a class on Canadian politics at the University of Ottawa.

Whether you agree with Jean Chretien's politics or not you've just gotta love the guy. He was a riot.

@StarWarsGirl95 Did you see Harrison Ford crashed his plane? :( He's in the hospital in stable condition.

Glad he's going to make a full recovery. Awesome job landing that puppy where and how he did. :)
I recognized the plane immediately. A WWII era North American T-6 Texan trainer. From the footage I saw, it didn't look like a total loss. Hopefully, it can be restored. :)

On Hotel Hell, my kids and I always bet on how long it takes for him either to get naked or in a speedo. The man loves to show off his body.

And a little past his prime years for all that. No matter how much one takes good care, pushing 50 is pushing 50.
I use to see things like this at our family events for swim team. Mom's in bikini's and Dads in suits they should not be in even in good shape. You put them next to some of these athlete young'ns and they just look foolish.

Oh, that's great news!! I'll bet he's happy (and you, too!)! :)

He was so happy. It is the first car he picked out. The Cutlass was a great first car with very low miles, sharp and given to him by my Dad. A car my Dad should have never bought for himself he was too old for a car like, when he bought it I was pregant with my second kid. Not a Papa car.
