What is hot to you? The highest on average the temperature gets here in the summer is 87. Of course there are a few days like today and yesterday that get in the 90's, but usually it is in the 80's.

Yesterday was high 90s here. Today is mid-90s. T’s trainer cancelled for tonight due to the heat advisory.

This year Father’s Day was a little tough in my household. For the most part it was a fun day.. we did a brunch with Dad and siblings and give gifts.. my sister hosted yesterday because we had to keep the World Cup on.lol. We swam for a bit then kiddo and I went home to watch the Brazil game.. then went out for Mexican food for dinner to celebrate the Mexico win.
But afterwards, T got a little melancholy. He asked a few questions that took everything in me not to react emotionally to. I guess he needed to get those feelings out, and we needed to talk, but part of me wishes the weather would have been cooler so we could have spent the evening having fun at KI instead.

I’ll take hot over cold, but I’m ready to go to the Zoo, parks, KI etc! I don’t want to do it in this weather.

I'm not a huge fan of anything over around 83* ish unless I'm in the woods or the pool. I am a "heat casualty" though, so my body doesn't really take heat all that well. I get dizzy and black out if I overheat so being outdoors in the sun has to be strategic for me. When it's hot, I can't eat; but if I don't eat, I black out.

I've mostly adapted to the heat here, but days like today are too hot.

Can’t like this. I have to make myself eat-appetite goes away in heat like this but I will drink lots of water.

We went to Disney in August to celebrate ds's bday when he was 5. It got into the 90's and it hadn't been that hot in New Jersey(we were living there at the time.) I thought I would pass out from the heat. But then I bought a hat and it was amazing how just wearing a hat helped with the heat. I felt a ton better wearing it.

I'm the same way. Even the teenage boy didn't want all his food at the O's game yesterday. He handed a chicken strip and half his fries to me. At the seventh inning, I forced myself to eat and got some bacon cheddar ranch fries. They were good, but I couldn't tell I was hungry.

The history behind Subken Gardens is really cool it started with just one guy building a nice garden in 1903 and continued on. Today it is a historic landmark and the city owns it so it will be protected. I remember going to Cypress Gardens as a kid and it was pretty but as a kid I wasn’t too interested in Gardens but the water ski show was cool.

How are you feeling by the way? Better I hope.
Sounds a lot like the Butcharts Gardens in Vancouver Island.

This weather is too hot for fried food. Watermelon would be awesome!

We went up to Clearwater today for a boat tour a look at the crowded beach and a nice Cuban lunch. Also had a nice beach walk. Here are some pictures of that including a couple pictures of our hotel. I’m glad you are enjoying my little report.

We did see some dolphins in the water during the boat tour but those pictures are on my other camera. Lunch was a mojito, Cuban steak and key lime pie.
