18 weeks along and she's about the size of a sweet potato (5.5 inches long)...SWEET...!!!!!!!!!!!
I was looking to buy Disney gift cards from Target. Did you know that Target now sells park passes??? Saw it in the app!! I wonder if you get the 5% if you use your Target card. That would be more than getting 2% on Disney Visa. Also @ajrwdwgirl , if I want to have gift cards placed on my account do I just hand them in during check-in? I want the gift cards used before the credit card gets charged.

How adorable!
What is it about hospitals and car accidents?
It was similar to this. Just look at the image. No need to watch the videoWall Mounted AC unit dead It was 10 years old.
Wow. They handled the issue really well it seems. You would think that that was something that happened all the time seeing how expedient they were with the repairs. I would also have decided to stay in a spa suite. Hard to go back when you've been up.
Welcome! (A number of people join AAA just for the various discounts--they have all kinds of discounts, not just park tickets.) If I go to a hotel for example, I always check to see if there is a AAA discounted rate. Sometimes that works out really well; other times it's just the luck of the draw--and the hotel might be running a special that's not AAA, which may be better. So I check often on rates. But I gotta say, I make out very well each year being a member.

It's gonna cost a pretty penny to replace that. There is also a compressor unit that needs to be bolted to the roof
Okay, lesson learned, I will wear the ankle brace from now on. It is far better than falling down the stairs.Me: *sprains ankle* (again) I don't need to wear my ankle brace.

Awww....poor kid. And poor you! I would have been freaking out!!! To be honest, with DS, he's always had that over-the-top kind of the reaction to EVERYTHING, so we've learned to not panic when he lets out the blood curtling scream, because if WE freak out, he'll freak out even more. Do they have rules with the sports about outside activities? I've heard of that with some sporting teams that kids have to sign a contract saying they won't do this or that because they could get injured and not be able to play, which would let their team down. I've always thought that was kind of ridiculous unless they are professional athletes getting paid. Kids have to be kids and sometimes they are going to take a spill. Glad it wasn't more serious! And how nice of the guy to stop and check to see if T was ok!Today’s Drama
Brought to you by 21Stamps
T and I arrive home @ 8:30.
“Mom, can I ride my scooter real quick? 5 minutes, please?”
“Ok T. 5 minutes only.”
“Great! Thanks!”
I’m in my room getting changed. Hear a blood curdling scream.
Look out the window and see a car stopped in the street, and a man standing over my son crumpled in an odd position. His scooter is half in the street. No more screams.
I SPRINT and grab my robe, not dressed yet.. Sprint down the stairs as I’m fumbling with tying my robe. and full faster sprint out the front door the the end of my driveway.
In a mater of 10 seconds every worst imaginable thought went thru my head.
I reach my son, he lets out a screaming cry. I realize that he didn’t get hit by the car. The man says “I saw him wipe out and wanted to make sure he was ok.” I thank the man and lean over T. Man leaves. I’m pushing prodding and asking questions, T is sobbing. I realize nothing is broken and bring him inside.
It was JUST SCRAPES!!! Bad scrapes, elbow, hip, side, and knee, lots of blood, but only scrapes underneath. As soon as I realize this I started LAUGHING. T says through his cries “Why are you laughing at me?? Oh no get that stuff away from me!!(referring to the peroxide) MOMMY WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING!!!???”
“Because I’m so glad that you’re just being a wimp!”
That did not go over well. I told him that if he calmed down he we get ice cream. I told about all of my scrapes and injuries at age 8 and earlier, and told him how lucky he was that he didn’t even have a wipe out until 8 years of age.
I realized that besides his broken bone at age 3, which he probably doesn’t remember, that the kid has never actually been hurt. I think he was more scared by it than anything, and that’s what caused such a reaction. I know it hurt, but not to the degree that he was sobbing, especially his reaction while I was sanitizing and bandaging, it was way over the top.
Afterwards, we both laughed about it over banana splits... and he pinky promised that he will not go past a certain spot of the driveway again, and he will not scream bloody murder unless it’s a serious injury, and that I won’t laugh at him again (I honestly didn’t mean to, it was almost relief laughter if that makes sense). Poor kid is all scraped and bandaged up though. So many sports games this weekend, will be interesting to see how he handles it.
Please rethink the brace before going to work. GWS xoxoMe: *sprains ankle* (again) I don't need to wear my ankle brace.
