I feel the same way about how vital it is to communicate with teachers because they spend more hours with the kid than I do. By the by, how did they like their Teacher Appreciation presents?

Things are not always easier with a spouse.

That communication is one of the biggest reasons as to why I have him in his specific school. We have 7:1 student/teacher ratio. I know every parent in his grade, all have at least my email address, and the volunteer moms can always let me know if they see something “up” with T. I feel like it’s a great network to have, and makes me feel like I’d know if something was wrong.

Thank you sir. You were an inspiration.

Casablanca?
It's a C-47 with the D-day black and white stripe markings on the wings, but, I'm not sure what movie it's from.
But, I'll hazard a guess (even though I don't remember any C-47's in this movie off the top of my head) and say "Saving Private Ryan"...?

Also, possibly "The Longest Day" or "Where Eagles Dare"...?

I know, 3 guesses, but, you didn't put a limit on guesses...! ;)
All wrong ... it is a new movie.

so.. Mount StartWars girl was again conquered by Belle? :p
8.5 hour seems nice to get.
Jasmine did. Which is kind of rare for her. She's very much the type of cat who wants attention on her terms. Not to mention she won't normally come to me if Belle is in the room, but Belle was asleep, so I guess she figured she was in the clear. Of course, she can't go about it gently. She always has to leap onto you.

Belle is a slender 9 pounds. Jasmine's fat.

The play with Legos one made me laugh.

My brother has this Splash Mountain thing that's built with lego-like pieces. My mom, one day, when I was working from home, decided Splash Mountain needed cleaning.

As soon as she touched the thing, a piece fell off. You would think she would have known where to put it back, right? Nope. She put it back in the wrong spit, and knocked another piece off as she did. Well, she tried to put it back together and ended up making a total mess of it. You would think circles matching to circles would be a no brainier, but circles were skewed on circles So eventually, I took it away from her and told her she was not allowed to touch Splash Mountain. Of course, could we find the directions for it? Nope. So I rebuilt it from an online picture. At one point, she put a piece on, and I took it right off, and she said, "What'd you do that for?" "I don't trust you." "But I think it goes there!" "Do not touch Splash Mountain."😂

She admitted that one reason she never bought me Legos was that she was no good with them and couldn't reach me. I told her I could have been a Lego genius, but we'll never know now!🤣

She is also not allowed to clean Splash Mountain. If it needs dusting, I do it with a can of air.

THNX my yoga mat is out and the 1st movie is in:joyfull:
I need to beam myself to your house. My kids have HS Musical on right now. While it is fine, I just don't feel like watching that. Potter sounds good to me now. Unfortunately I will have no time to watch it. I have to take youngest to cheer practice in an hour. I will have time for yoga before I go though, at least a quick one.

We used to have a saying in the Army that went: you can excel at your job or you can excel at your home life, but you'll very rarely excel at both. The saying means that you have a finite amount of time and energy, and what you throw it into is what you'll reap, but that you'll NEVER have enough time or energy to throw everything into everything.

I think you're expecting to excel at everything (and expecting him to as well), here, but you might not have enough time. Decide what's important to you, and what's important to T, and maybe cut back on some of the things that aren't on that list.

I could be wrong... because I don't have a seven year old.,... but the phrase "he's got so much on his plate right now" seemed like a really grown up thing to apply to a childhood.
Amen. A kid's gotta be a kid. Too many grow up too fast.
