We’re going to be so busy tonight and tomorrow.

Soccer game then rushing to get ready for first communion.. then T’s party. I’ll be up all night cleaning and baking.

Just pressed record on the game for tomorrow.. going to avoid all social media til then, blocked alerts from my homepage.

It’s a special day and I love my son, but at some point tomorrow, we’ll be rivals.
This is the first year that he is just as stoked for this game as I am!! Too bad we’ll be wearing opposing jerseys.

Looks like summer there, with all the people on the beach! Oddly enough, I don't see anyone swimming though. Maybe it was just the angle of your camera that didn't show more. Anyway, what a nice view you have!! Enjoy!

It is not exactly warm. These people must be related to you. There were people actually swimming. The water temp is 58 degrees. It was choppy. There were women/girls in bikinis going in as well as shirtless men. Totally nuts.

Forgot to mention the funny thing that happened in hospital. I'm laying in the waiting area and the doc came in to talk a man on other side of curtained divider. The conversation went like this...

Doc--Just empty your pockets so you don't roll over on your keys or phone.

Silence and rustling....

Doc--Is that a bong? Are you high?

Man patient--Yes, I didn't want to feel anything.

Doc--I won't alert hospital security but don't ever bring that here again!

Then they took him for his cortisone shot.

So it was a fun afternoon. The senior team got 3rd out of 18 teams, so that was really impressive. They competed today. They took pictures with all the girls at the beach. Here is one with their coach. Since their backs are all turned it is ok to post. Dd is the only one with a skirt.

The dates differ from the 3rd week of August (like us) to right after Labor Day.

Hubs and I took the dog on a ride this afternoon. We ended up at the Dairy Queen with two peanut butter parfaits. Kapono has the first few bites of mine so she could have some of the vanilla before it got too messed up with chocolate. A fine time was had by all.

Oh my gosh! That’s hilarious and horrible!
Although I will say that cortisone shots hurt like bloody heck. I had one in my wrist a few month ago. OUCH. I’m still putting off surgery and just putting up with pain and shots until I actually find the time to schedule it/deal with it. The stupid thing is already torn, so it can’t get any worse.

Got home from pet sitting. Belle is all over me.

In other news, I came home and found a dead wasp on my bathroom floor. And because I'm extremely spheksophobic, I made my brother pick it up and flush it down the toilet because even the idea of getting the vacuum out was too much for me.

@SteveBrickNJ , really liking your air show photos. I haven't been to one in years. They're very exciting. Seen some of the bigger names (Blue Angels, and Thunderbirds), but I also really like all the other aircraft, including the smaller, aerobatic ones.

Couldn't really tell from your photos--did they also have any static displays? I like strolling around displays, chatting with both military and non-military people at these shows, too.

Come down to RI in June. That's when we have ours. (I never been)
