Would he be able to appreciate the joke if you looked up someone in the phonebook with the last name "King"? That was my Aunt's married name. Here, kid....let's go meet a King. :hilarious:

We were just talking about that today while we watched the King's Day celebrations on TV. Every year, the Royal Family goes to a different city to celebrate, and that city plays host and they have all kinds of entertainment for them and the Royal Family goes through the city shaking hands and meeting people and listening to singers and watching dance troups, etc. April 27th is the king's birthday, so start planning your trip for next year. :p

Ha ha, that would be hilarious!!

The celebration sounds really neat, have you ever been able to attend one?

Remember back when I was second guessing myself about whether or not to stay at SOG for our trip or to wait for free dining to come out and switch to AoA because I know she loves the resort?

I'm totally over that, now...... AoA with free dining package is $2805 more than the package I built with SOG. What are the chances I could eat that much food?? :hilarious::hilarious:

The total for the package for the nights we were staying was $4755. But even the cheapest package from All Stars Sports was $3062 and that is still a difference of $1112. There's no way we'd even come close to eating that amount!! Especially considering this is for the Quick Service plan and we'd still have to upgrade that.

Geez. Hence why I think the room-only discounts are better than the free dining. I priced it out for a friend and found she could have done room only and passes separate for less than the package. Trickery at work.

4755 for AoA? Are you kidding? That’s crazy. Is that a regular room or a suite?

I need to just pin the following sentence, I say it so often..

In 2015 we chose a Room Only discount in lieu of free dining. I paid for the DDP myself, and STILL came out over $1000 less than the dining promotion.

The free dining is only for the suites, but with my friend and her niece coming with us, we'd need a suite anyway. The AoA LM rooms aren't big enough for me to stay a week in with an adult and small child I've never lived with. LOL.

I will NOT be relaying this message to my kid. I already have to go to Kohls after picking her up from school today so we can buy her new tennies. She normally grows 1 to 1.5 sizes over winter, but this year she only grew .5. So the shoes I bought for the winter fell apart, which would normally be fine because I have new shoes for her in the next size up, but she's not ready for that yet. So off to buy new shoes we go!

Going to let her pick out her own shoes tonight (as long as they're tennies), and she's really excited about that. I'm sure because we're buying new size 9 shoes tonight, she'll be in size 10 by the end of the month :hilarious::hilarious:

I went into the cafeteria looking for soup to go with what I brought for lunch.

Somehow, a plate of lasagna ended up in my hands instead and my lunch is now in the freezer.

No clue how that happened.
aaah the famous "zombie mode". When you're too tired, with too many things in your mind that you do everything in "automatic". And later when you finally manage to get a moment of clarity.. You notice that your mind bamboozled you and you did a big mistake somewhere along the path. :hilarious::hilarious:

Oh..... She wants all the shoes in all the colors. She's like Sex and the City, preschooler edition. If she could turn my whole bedroom into her shoe closet, she totally would. She wants red boots, and red heels, and red tennies, and black tennies with butterflies, and minnie mouse shoes, and elena shoes, etc, etc, etc,. This kid is OBSESSED with shoes.

Oh, its just..

Lets just say that you haven't sleep well for weeks. You have too much things to think (like school exams, thesis, etc..), you are swamped with things to worry about (like bills).

Your body literally goes into automated mode. When you try to remember what you did, you simply do not remember.

Example, walking from your home to the bus stop then paying the bus with cash.
Then I finally regained my composure.. I do not even remember walking nor paying!

Others times... like getting food.. and not remembering opening the fridge or even preparing the food at all.
Its like vanished time for you. You're just "doing" these actions with zero thinking with an empty mind.

I just named this "zombie mode".
