I work for a large company and interact with a lot of people from different departments from different parts of the world on a daily basis. I see some pretty strange stuff. Today alone I've emailed with employees in India, Mexico, France, Poland, Australia, and the UK. I had a Skype call with an accountant in Poland (who's awesome and one of my favorite people because she always answers my dumb questions quickly and doesn't ever make me think they're stupid). I've had to deal with an issue where the Chinese government blocked one of our cloud-based applications that we use for timekeeping. I've dealt with an issue this week where a training email got sent to employees in France, and we're not training them because it has to be cleared with the government there, and we haven't the time to deal with that.
It can be extremely frustrating, but at the end of the day, I've got a really interesting job to do, and I like hanging around the IT guys now where I am. It's kind of fun being one of the few women among a bunch of guys. I was getting bored in my old job. I'm definitely never bored where I am now.
Today is DWifeys birthday, so we all took her out to a local Italian restaurant that we haven't been to in quite a while...it was as delicious as we remembered...!!!!!

Any milk in that, or is it all just Cheerios?
I believe that's the price point where we're still slightly ahead. I still don't have to be happy about it.That sucks. Still worth it for me though.

Would he be able to appreciate the joke if you looked up someone in the phonebook with the last name "King"? That was my Aunt's married name. Here, kid....let's go meet a King.T has a current mild obsession/curiosity with royals. Over the past few weeks he has repeatedly asked me to take him to see a King.
Whenever I inquire about the ‘why’, he says “Kings are epic. I want to meet one. I’d even be happy with a Queen, but a King would be more cool. I kind of wish the USA had a king or queen, but not a mean one like the colonies had.”
I laugh..
He says “So, are we going to England soon so I can meet the queen? And then we’ll go to Spain so I can meet Ronaldo.”
Me want it!!!
