I suppose they could be because I don't remember for sure, but, I don't think they had laptops in the 80's. My recollection is that back then even home computers were scarce and they had to be wired up direct. Good old AOL, dial up with all it's fun noises signing on.

Around 1989 or so, we had computer rooms in elementary schools, for sure. We started with the green and black screen ones. We got a home computer in 1996 ish, with AOL dial up that was painfully slow. Didn't get my first laptop until 2000, but it was pretty common by then, i was just poor, lol

Ugh. I remember dial up. It was cool at the time, but I sure am glad that we went digital. Now I get annoyed if it takes more than 10 seconds to load up a page. I had Compuserve in ‘86 or ‘87.

Sorry I got behind again but I had an MRI with contrast and it made me ill. (My fifth in the past year. You'd think I'd have built up a tolerance to it.) I've been down and out for a few days but will get ketchuped soon.

Yay! Have you ever read any of Jim Korkis' books? I like his Vault of Walt series a lot.

Well it depends upon if I need a frosted cake quick, or if I have time to frost one. I prefer to frost one, because I buy extra frosting and after the cake is frosted, I just dip a spoon into the frosting can and eat the rest!

I know a girl who would have made all 26 of them for $36!! She did an amazing job on our end of season soccer party soccer ball cookies. I just wanted to do them myself. Never again. I’ll stick to baking on days when I haven’t just spend 12 hours at the office and on stress overload.

Sheesh. You "drive" a hard bargain. I was rather enjoying my 30 degree mornings in April. Drive up in August--it will be hotter than heck. I can wait.
