Sympathy like. None of my kids had issues with the characters or Santa.I have to say, that even though I do have a princess, we never got to do any of these. @dryerlintfan 's A was afraid of dark rides. Mine was afraid of all of the characters. All of them. I was kind of prepared. Her brother was the same way. And it went far beyond Disney. Not a single picture of either of my kids with Santa.
Oh my, I can't believe I keep forgetting to post this...!!!!!
We never took down our front door Christmas wreath, and then when we went to, it was too late...a finch had chose to build her nest there! We have been sooo careful with the opening and closing of the front door lately...!!!
They have since hatched (although this pic is about 1.5 weeks old, and they have grown much bigger, although not quite ready to leave the nest), and this whole thing has me... , and there are 5 of them in the nest...!!!
Yea, ultimately, I'm a bit of a softie, I guess...

Anybody want to swap places with me today? Anybody?
When the robins came back, they ate all our holly berries. Drunk robins, huh. Never thought of that one.Someone once told me that in the spring the birds eat the berries that are still on the bushes. They have been out there all winter and have fermented, so basically the birds are drunk. Apparently, they never read the signs condemning drinking and flying. I always wondered about why birds tended to run into windows and directly into cars in the spring and of all the reasons I have heard that one made the most sense, so, I'm sticking with it.
Well that mom sure found a safe spot to nest. Nice that you left it. I wonder what they think though when suddenly their nest moves at least 60 degrees one way and back.Oh my, I can't believe I keep forgetting to post this...!!!!!

@21stamps I've seen a lot of kids here T's age and they appear to be having fun, but because we've only gone out at night so far we've only seen a bunch of drunk people in a party city. Not exactly a family environment. But there are a lot of family activities you can sign up for like swamp boats. I'll keep an eye out today in the sunshine, but I probably wouldn't bring my kid to the French Quarter at night until she's drinking age
THNX and don't think I haven't thought about thatNo. But you're welcome to abandon everything and come hang out with us!!
That is a girl book I have to admit. I loved it as well as Sense and Sensibilty, and Pride and Prejudice The movies are quite good as well. I have the DVD of Pride and Prejudice from the A&E version. It starred Colin Firth. Secret crush. Didn’t mind the young Hugh Grant either. The worst book i had to read at school for was "Emma" by Jane Austin
As I said it was a thought for the first couple of chapters with a plague and spare body parts
Are you the only one of your friends awake? Seems like you had a long night.No. But you're welcome to abandon everything and come hang out with us!!
