Just stopped at a bakery.. they’re going to make a small round cake and pipe his pack number and ‘Congrats T You’re a Wolf Now’

I’m going to get a few balloons and streamers..and have it all ready when we get home from school.
Then I’ll hand him his badges.
Den leader also dropped off the flower gift that he made at the last meeting..I’ll have that sitting on the table as well for him to give to me.

It should be cute, hopefully he goes with it and is excited.
I think that is a great idea!

Hoping to get over for the air display in September.
Talking about "your" Jersey.
I'm on my lunch break and I looked some more. The beaches....the canoeing....the touristy sightseeing bus.
Plenty to do for a visitor.
I've only seen London. That is not the typical England experience I'm sure.
It would be nice to go back to the UK some day and see rural England, or Scotland or Wales.

I never thought about that before, AK would be tough in a storm. Sorry that happened to you.
Well, we had 10 days at Disney, so it's not like we didn't have an opportunity to catch the things we missed. It turned out to be a great trip...just that one day was a total bust. We did go back to AK a different day and while it wasn't a bad experience, we weren't wowed. It's our least favorite park and I could skip it easily next trip except the kids want to do the wilderness explorer thing...they loved that. We DID like the one trail we did where we saw gorillas and such....that was neat, but we can do that whenever we want as we have a pass to the zoo. We could have gone to another park or gone resort hopping or something...we had options, but we were just done. DH had had to take DS out of Tough to be a Bug because he was screaming, and he had already had a meltdown earlier in the day before the storm because he got wet on Kali River and he HATES the feeling of wet clothes, so it wasn't just the storm. It was a lot of things that added up, so we went and got a good night's sleep and we were much better for it!! But if you are ever at Disney and there's a thunderstorm, don't do AK!!!

Oh no it’s not a good place. We got caught in a very bad thunderstorm last May and had to stand in the bathrooms at the entrance. The lightning and rain were awful. We were standing with so many people you couldn’t move.
Did it last a long time? Everyone says that the storms never last long, and we had an ADR for Tuskerhouse, so we decided to stick it out and see if it was just a short burst, but it rained the whole day. When we got there in the morning it was so overwhelmingly hot and humid...our clothes were just CLINGING to us, so all of us were super happy to get soaked on Kali...except DS. I had packed ponchos, so we had dried off by the time it started raining and we put the ponchos on, but we missed one fastpass because it was raining so hard we'd have been soaked even with the ponchos, and we waited until it slowed down a bit...I changed the fastpass so it worked out, but it was definitely not a short-lived storm like people say they always are. If I had it to do over, I'd probably leave the park immediately and either have some resort time and come back for dinner, or I would have tried to switch some ADRs and go to a different park until the ADR. Oh well...learning experience, right? But we had the same thing....people packed in anywhere there was a roof. I was so glad to have the MDE app because I just changed around the fastpasses and most people were just lining up for the shows in standby. The plus side was we got all the shows done the first day, so there wasn't a whole lot of must-dos for us the next AK day.

Scenes from a marriage:
Me: Good morning.
DH: I haven't decided yet.
Me: Whether it's morning or whether it's a GOOD morning?
DH: Whether it's good.
Me: Of course it's not. It's morning. It's not meant to be good.
DH: Ok....then let's call it "flubberdawhatsky"
Me: But that's just such a long name....can I just call it "Bob"?
DH: No.
Me: But, what if it doesn't answer to Flubberdawhatsky?
DH: Well, does it answer to "morning"?
Me: Um....no. It doesn't take my commands no matter what I call it. Good point.

This is what marriage looks like at 6:30a.m. At least at our house.
