That flooding is horrendous. Hope you get a few weeks without any rain.

And BOG needed to be signature why? I need to go to bed before I get annoyed.Yep, now that BOG is going to be a signature for dinner Disney had to come up with a replacement. That will be Pinocchio's Buffet table service for dinner only. QS for breakfast and lunch

There’s an entire park and large playground beneath the water here.

Lots of people still have their lights up. But do they have them turned on?Yes!!! I know Harper is going to love this so much! She loved looking at Christmas lights this year! Although, now when we come home from daycare she yells at the people who still have their lights up!![]()
Holy cow. That's so terrible.
We have SIX different grocery stores (most are very large) in my area. Is the population exploding, or are we all just a bunch of gluttons around here?!![]()
thats the weird part, I do not remember meeting someone who was coughing or having flu like symptoms.. but then.. they can infect you when they do not seem infected.Great. Now you should find out who gave it to you, and thank them.![]()
Mr. Ferret, I have no idea why I cant see your avatar. I see an empty one.
Yeah, for reference the second photo I posted is a building called The Current.. the photos below is what that area typically looks like.
Our entire new waterfront park is underwater.
..And the people’s homes and business.. I can’t even imagine.
It’s supposed to crest tomorrow, finally.

It’s the red building here - absolutely crazy that the river rose so high.

Soup is a staple here. They are the easiest things to make.
Went to Catholic school for 8 years as a kid. Basically, everything was a sin as far as the nuns were concerned!![]()
Why does this not surprise me?I've never bought parchment paper in my life, but it figures you'd have a shelf of that (mysterious) stuff?!

Regarding your response above to @donaldtoo , I read that it was around through (at least part of) the 1980s. Guess it just mattered what school or church you went to as a kid--whether it was ever mentioned.
My mom once told me that she was scared of the nuns during her early grades.. not because of rulers (which they did use on knuckles back then-but Mom said for ‘only super serious offenses’) ..anyway, so she was frightened by their habits!!lol. She said that until about third grade she always wondered what was underneath, because the sound they made “swishing by”, and she also wondered about their hair. Ha ha.My mother was educated in mostly Catholic school in her hometown of Shiner, Texas. She had her least favorite, and favorite nuns, but, has never told any horror stories.
Pops town was much smaller (less than 1000 population at the time) and he was educated in only a public school. Both started out in two room schoolhouses with mixed grades.
Pretty sure everything was pretty much a sin to everyone back then...!!!![]()
