On Carnival Lido Deck buffet is open 7 am-midnight and the pizzeria/deli is 24 hours. The sodas are extra but you have the option to buy a refillable mug package on sail day then you can drink as much as you want. That gets you free soda in main restaurant also. Snacks, like ice cream (also 24 hours) is also free. Plus they have Guy's Burgers. :hungry:

And the main restaurant menu changes everyday but I had steak three nights on our last cruise. It was sooo good. And not an upcharge for it made it better. :)

You're also allowed to bring one case of soda, bottled water and bottle of wine or champagne on board with you.

Yep, all that and Guy's was really good...and those fries...!!! :hungry:

Yep, different menu every night!

And yes, we were allowed to bring a bottle of wine/champagne per person in our group, so we brought aboard 5 bottles of wine and a bottle of champagne...!

Oh. That actually stinks. It is making Disney look better actually. When we went my favorite meal was actually the buffet on Castaway Cay.:hungry:

I've posted this before, but, funny story about that buffet...
On oldest DD and SonILs DCL honeymoon cruise they started heading to the Castaway Cay buffet that particular day. They saw some people going a certain way so they followed them. They got there, got in line for the buffet , and then joined a table. After a little small talk they started to feel things weren't quite right. Finally, someone at the table asked them where they worked on the ship... :cyclops:
Yep, somehow they ended up lunching in the CM area...!!!!! :joyfull:
IIRC, they were allowed to finish their plates and then took a cart back to the guest areas...!!! :hilarious:

Forgot what else I did today: during my lunch break, I test drove two Buicks, the Encore and the Regal. My mother (who is in fact the best) let me have her car for the day and took care of getting the quote for the damage on my car.

Hated the Encore. Absolutely hated it. After having a large sedan and a large SUV, driving that small SUV made me feel like this:

I like the new redesigned Regal. But the only way I can do that is to lease it. Which the sales guy, who was only six years older than me (why do I get the feeling the dealerships are pairing me with young sales guys on purpose?) made a valid point: leasing might not be a bad thing given that at my age, I have no idea what my vehicle needs will be in three years. He also pegged me correctly. I told him work is moving me around, so I'm not pulling the trigger until I know what's going on with that. He said I strike him as the kind that's being driven crazy by it and would have already made the decision had it not been for work. Um, yeah, about right. :hilarious: He also knew that there was no sway he was selling me the Encore before we got in the car. Yeah, that was right too.

But still, feeling like I might get more bang for my buck in one of the other cars. I'm kind of leaning towards the Malibu. If I go the leasing route, I might do the Malibu now, and then when that lease is up, determine where I am financially and then look at a higher end car at that point if I'm ready.

I think the Camry is off the table. I like it, but it's the least fun to drive, and no Android auto kind of kills it.

It's Friday. My husband comes home from an insanely long business trip tomorrow. We also have Disney on Ice tickets for tomorrow. And this weekend I'm sure will fly by and then it will be February :jawdrop:

Awww...
Hahaaa...! Don't blink...!!!
Our 3 "little tiny babies" are already 23, 25, and 26...!!!!! :joyfull:

Oh, that sounds like fun, and I'm sure your daughter will love Disney on Ice. Should be entertaining for your hubs, too, after a long business trip, to just go to a cute family show and unwind with you and your daughter.

Speaking of your daughter, that's exciting that she'll be turning 3 in February. (P.S.: All the cool kids have a birthday in February. ;) I know this for a fact. )

October, actually...!!!!! :joyfull:

Time passes by quickly when you have kids. Wait til your little one starts losing those tiny baby teeth, and then starts to drive. My youngest dd is about to lose her third tooth, and oldest dd is going to start driving soon.:eek::eek:

Again, don't blink...!!!!! 😉
Seriously, though, we spent so much time together and continue to do so, but, it all goes by sooo fast. Such good memories, and we're still making them, and sooo many more to come...!!!!! :joyfull:

With oldest DD being vegan, they were very accommodating. She enjoyed all of her meals.
Never felt like there were too many passengers and couldn't breathe, and we loved the sit down dinners, buffet, Guy's Burgers, etc.
And, as I posted before, oldest DD said that our aft balcony cabin had more storage and was a bit larger than same on the Disney Dream for their honeymoon cruise.
We may be cruising for a coupla' years 'til things like DHS are sorted.
We're hooked...!!!!!!! :joyfull:
If I remember correctly, there are different sized cabins.. the 2-4 cabins are smaller than the family (3-5 cabins) and the "accessible" ones are even larger.
Certain corner cabins and front facing cabins can be bigger in some of the ships. (Royal caribbean for example, has some really big family cabins in the front of some of their ships)

Omg my supervisor just walked over to my desk and said "Oh you're out February 5?" Yes, I've had it on the calendar for a while now, I told her. That's my Disney trip. "You're going to Disney?" Yes. "Oh, I'm going that weekend. We just booked it this morning." K, guess my supervisor and I will be at WDW at the same time. :hilarious:
Plot twist, you book in the same restaurant and she decides to give you work while dinning :hilarious:
