Gosh, your book selection looks really exciting. I'd say that's right up there with another masterpiece: Slide Rules Down Through the Years . . .

I am really excited about Ducktales coming back. This was one of my favorites!
That's almost all in the head. Women, especially smaller women have been told all their life that they are delicate and unable to deal with machinery. Should be left to the manly man who is big enough to handle it. When I was with the bus company there was a woman that drove there that didn't even make it to 5 ft. tall and weighed in at about 85 pounds. That woman could handle those 44 foot buses like they were a VW Beetle. One of the best drivers I ever worked with. Size means nothing, confidence is everything.Everything feels big to me. I had to sit on something when I took Driver's Ed just to see over the dash for that car (they have their own cars there for students to use). I will always need power seats that can be adjusted up. All the way up.
The Enclave feels especially huge. The Aurora is fine. The Bravada...still huge. I will have to get a stool just so I can clean the snow off the roof of it.
Either that, or trade chores with someone who can actually reach the roof.
My parents always said that I looked fine driving the Aurora, but that the Bravada looked like too much car for little me. Not thrilled with this arrangement, but oh well.
Actually, I've never seen Ducktales. I'll have to check it out this time around. Do we know yet when it will be on TV?
I wouldn't like it but my daughter would. She is a sweets person I'm more savory.
I'm sure you'll be fine. Many people can't afford to buy a car, and you're fortunate that your parents help you out.
Pirates closing May 11 - Sept. 25. Darn!
Yay, but darn!
It's 13 years old, leaks oil, and one of the tire rims is corroding, so it keeps leaking air. Oil can't be repaired, and the tire rim would cost $700, plus then it needs new tires in six months. Dealer only offered them $550 for it. SUV is newer (2003) and pretty much everything still works. I know why they're getting rid of it, but it still makes me sad. And I'm not thrilled about getting the SUV. I suggested (jokingly) that we could put the V8 engine in the SUV (which only has a V6). They somehow didn't go for that...
Sad day in the JenniferS household.
Son #2 still off work ... barfing his guts up!
And now ... the big guy has gone down.
It's as quite as a tomb in here, except for alternating/simultaneous yakking!
Good thing we have three bathrooms.
That only leaves Adopted Son to get it. He was gone for 48+ hours over the weekend, so I predict he'll get hit by Thursday at the latest.
I will, of course, keep you posted.
Whoa, like labour pains?! Well at least they now know what is gals go through when we have children!
Disney needs one of these. Or 12 in each resort

Soda fountain. It has so many options in one machine. 24 kind of soda/soft drink and then when you tap your choice, about half a dozen flavor options.
You can probably get 100 different drinks from that one machine.
Disney, take notes.
And yes, I am in love with a soda fountain.
Very similar, here. Given the choice between the two I'll pick savory, almost, every time.
But, I do quite often really like the combination of the two, as well.
Nope. Apparently it looks better in person; although I'm in the minority that thinks it looks fine.
Check out the MK - Hub construction thread in N & R.
2017 for the new ones.Actually, I've never seen Ducktales. I'll have to check it out this time around. Do we know yet when it will be on TV?

FYI - If memory serves, the Camaro was a gas hog too.
