There are wash n fold places but even though I'm not a fan of doing laundry, they're not quite worth the money IMHO

After my sister had knee surgery, she couldn't get to the laundry machines in the basement. So she paid for a local laundromat service to pick up her laundry, wash and fold it, and deliver it back to her. In that case, it was well worth the money, and she said it wasn't all that expensive either.

Kringla Bakeri is closed til summer. At least there is a temp stand.

More and more of the long term resturants and stands have closed, some of them more unexpectedly than others throughout the WDW Property and most of them haven't been quick though a few were only a few days. I've been wondering given the age of many of these places updates might be required code wise 'cause they are rapidly going through many of these establishments.
And if it is infrastructure then why not go ahead and just rehab the entire place and update while your at it. That is where my mind is leaning anyhow, not like Disney is actually going to post that on there blog.

Kringla actually comes at a good time. Arts Festival Kiosks are up and running and will immediately be followed by 3 months of Flower and Garden Kiosks. I actually love more of the food offerings for F&G over F&Wine. Plus it isn't normally near as hot and humid and makes kiosk hopping better (unless @MinnieM123 ) is in the House of the Mouse then all bets are off.[/QUOTE]

I like both Food and Wine and Flower and Garden offerings. I might lean more towards F&G too. I can't wait until the new menus for this year come out and I can start planning our plan of attack!:)

I wish someone would wash, dry, and fold the clothes for me!
And put away.
Yikes! Saving is one thing, but it sure doesn't sound like you were making minimum wage back then?!!! :jawdrop::)
Homes were way cheaper in the 80’s and early 90’s. Wish I had the foresight to have thought about money and real estate the way @Gabe1 did at a young age. Pretty brilliant.

Your travel habits sound fine to me. Sometimes we have to take 81 through VA and hate it. Nothing to look at. We prefer 95 because we like to see all the billboards and other "attractions" off the highway. Like there is one development in SC I think where when we passed on 2 different occasions there were police cars with flashing lights on in it. :eek:We enjoy reading the Old Glory canned veggie billboards. They are actually hysterical.:hilarious: South of the Border of course lets us know we are just 6 or less hours away. In Georgia is this construction vehicle factory where they display a vehicle in the middle of a big pond. Next to it as an Air Force museum. Well, sure you know these sites as well. :D
I use 81 all the time now just to avoid the excess traffic and the horrendous tolls. It is longer but, I have found that it takes the same amount of time just by missing the traffic around DC.

Hey! What are you doing on here tonight--didn't you just have your eye operated on today?! :jawdrop: Shouldn't you be resting?! :cautious:
Compared to my day, believe me, this is resting. All went fairly well except that last piece of the original me did not go quietly into that good night. It took them an hour and fifteen minutes just to get the old lens out. My eye looks like it went a few rounds with Ali!

I'm glad you're o.k. and back home to rest now. It's good that they finally got the old lens out, even if it took a while.

We will take 81 north to get home and avoid DC and always traffic congested Virginia. If we leave in the wee early hours of the morning we can be successful going 95.

So sorry you had a rough surgery. Hopefully it will heal just fine and any redness will be short lived.

Overall that isn't a bad price for a cut of meat that isn't all so common where you live.

I am loving my Christmas Present ECHO ALEXA more and more. In seconds I knew the Euro and the gram conversion to pounds.

Latest update on the car...

Now my dad has offered to let me buy his Buick Regal from him. 2015, 25,000 miles. Excellent condition, of course. No accidents, lives in the garage. Still has a year left on the manufacturer's warrenty. He said I would just pay $5000 down and take over the payments on the loan.

I'm torn because it is a really nice offer, and the loan has two more years on it, so it's one two more years of car payments, albeit two years of higher car payments tthan I was planning, not to mention his car is super nice, but at the same time, I was looking forward to buying a brand new car myself, and I was looking to build some credit history myself since I'm not planning on renting a place when I do move out; I'm saving up and will buy a place outright.

Might just have to stop by the bank and talk through it with a financial advisor there.
