Funny story related to this. When ds was an infant and just starting baby food, we stopped off at a mall in Savannah on our way to Disney. Dd was playing in a play area there.. Kids needed some time out of the car. Anyway there was a mom there and she was asking about ds because her toddler wouldn't eat anything but baby food. I said ds just started to eat baby food,so we hadn't had that issue yet. That funny part is that ds loved this one flavor of Gerber. It was broccoli cauliflower puree. He could eat it all the time. I would give him other flavors and refused. Just wanted the broccoli cauliflower. He then wouldn't touch any non pureed food when he was able too when he was older. It was so hard to get him to eat anything solid. Finally one day we are at a sil's house and she made the kids buttered noodles. Hallelujah! :)Finally he eat something solid. Who would think that feeding a kid could be so stressful! @figmentfan423 has the opposite problem.;)
There are a few fresh fruits my older ds doesn't like. It's not a problem, his brother will eat them for him:facepalm:

I worked since I was 15 years old. Before I baby sat. I saved. I had a job in college. I lived at home a year after that to get a paid off car. The condo was actually first. Sold and bought house before kids. I saved and planned for future.
That is such a smart thing to do! I hate still having a mortgage and can't wait to be rid of it.

Dh and older ds have a 4 day weekend. I have pack animals for shopping tomorrow:D
Always look on the bright side of life. ;)

So Hawaii is definitely not happening.
My sister is looking to switch jobs because there is no room for advancement in her current position. She found out late this afternoon that she made it thru the first round of selections for a new job she applied for and she needs to be available for interviews at a later date. I am excited for her but disappointed for me.

Thank you, I hope she gets this new job. I am pretty sure they won't promote her at her current office because she is a woman. They can't legally say that of course but there isn't a single woman in higher management. It makes me angry as my sister is highly qualified and hard working, her current manager is leaving and even recommended my sister to his boss as a replacement but the big boss decided to look outside the company for a replacement.

hu.. had to google.

The terms for financial things in english do not translate very well in spanish.
Uh huh. Some things have been known to completely confuse me before in Spanish. I had no idea that lengua meant tongue for the longest time. I thought it just meant language. Until I watched La Lengua de Las Mariposas and saw that the English translation was butterflies tongues.

Or the phrase almas gemelas in Spanish. It does not translate literally. Life or soul twin? Nope. Kindred spirit is more the correct translation for the meaning, although it's nothing alike.

Joy of joy tomorrow's 60 something and rain is going to turn into ice and then snow. My dh just ran out to fill our 5 gallon water jugs in case we lose power. We're going shopping very early tomorrow. edit early for most
We are rain all day tomorrow and 60's. I head out to Atlantic City around 3ish, so unfortunately will be driving in it. But no snow is listed in the forecast. Temps will drop Saturday and Sunday will be a balmy 29. Stay warm and I hope you don't lose power.
