My Disney themed gifts from my hubs.

I included a close up of my fave Disney gifts from hubs, probably the nerdiest Disney gifts ever. A book about janitorial Disneyland cast members and a framed picture of Walt and Guy Williams (zorro).

Considering the cold and snow many of us are dealing with, thanks for the picture. :)Yes, there is paradise somewhere, although @MinnieM123 thinks she is living it where she is of course. She is in her element. Weird.:D

Oooh. Never turn it off completely. Maybe turn off the water, but lower the heat to 60. Luckly you weren’t gone for too long ir the pipes could have gone Ka-blewy with this cold. Hurray for being home safe. Sorry about the temp.

Yep, even we're predicted to get all the way down to 23 overnight tomorrow...definitely covering/dripping the hose bibs...!!!!! :cold:

Yeah we got really lucky!! Growing up in California doesn't prepare you for winter homeownership in the Midwest, lol

It's funny-ish...
We're originally from Texas, but, we lived in No Cal from '68-'76. As we were getting ready to move back to Texas in the summer of '76, my father explained to us kiddos that the seasons would be more pronounced in Texas, unlike No Cal. And, although not a crazy difference, the seasons are definitely more pronounced here.
Even sillier...
We were living in Huntsville, Alabama and my pop was working at the Redstone Arsenal/Marshall Spaceflight Center before he got his job with IBM. We were originally supposed to move to Rochester, Minnesota. Just before we and the moving truck left the house, pop got a phone call that plans had changed and we were moving to San Jose, Cali...!!!!! :hilarious:
One of his Arsenal buddies that also got hired by IBM wasn't so lucky...him and his family and the moving truck were already on the road up to Rochester, and the highway patrol had to go after them to reroute them...no joke!!!!! :hilarious:
No cell phones back then...!!! ;)
We still laugh about it to this day...!!!!! :hilarious:
And, no offense to Minnesota or anyone who lives there and loves it, but, I'm sooo very glad we never ended up there...I'll, and my lovely DWifey, will take our, mostly ;), mild climate over any of that tundra carp any and every day of the week...!!!!!!! :joyfull: :D  ;) :)
