Our stay in the Efteling was great. The house had 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms so plenty of space for all. Our house was the left half of this building.

A bench near our house, it says The Big Bad Wolf was here.

Some of the other houses you can rent at Bosrijk.

Does Efteling have houses for rent ? hotels? or you have to get everything outside?

And, just one more cruise post for now...

After dinner we went to the Ivanhoe Theater in the front of the ship for a fun and hilarious disco tribute show...!!! :)

Then, after that, all the way to the back of the ship to the Punchliner Club, on deck 5 and directly below our cabins, (also doubles as a karaoke club) for some standup comedy...!!! :)

My omelette and avocado toast breakfast the next morning...sorry, I had already killed the sausage link and bacon sides, and started on the omelette before I remembered to take pics... :hungry:

First sights of Costa Maya and docking there...!!!!! :)

Just booked our WDW trip for July! Wahooo! I'm sure I will rebook/modify as discounts come out but it still makes me excited.
I wish we were still going over our regular time at the end of June but hubs has church stuff that can't be changed (a National Youth Gathering in Houston).

Plus as I was looking at the Magic Bands I saw that WDW wants to give me another band for my AP (I already ordered and received one). So now I have another AP magic band coming in the mail, this one is green.

There are also interactive trash cans. They say Give me Paper and Thank you when you feed them. My 5 year old nephew thought they were amazing. Here he is putting something in the mouth of one.

This one makes the sound of a cannon ball being fired when you put paper in it.
View attachment 253084

Regular paper one that says Thank you .

My sister in law made me ears and I wore them to the Efteling and was told several times that I was in the wrong park.

Those garbage cans are really amusing. I miss the old MK interactive one. Love the ears and the little alien faces on the kids.:):hilarious:

I am thinking of adjusting my trip. May do some days on property and a couple off to try out the Double Tree at Disney Springs. I did look at our park dates for EMH and noticed that there really aren't too many morning EMH for the week before Memorial Day. We usually do the morning ones. Have a hard time staying for the late ones. Does anyone know if the buses from the Disney Spring resorts park right near the Disney buses at MK?

IIRC, the Disney Springs buses are back by the Pop Century and Art of Animation buses. So all the way in the back, right near the restrooms

My grandma was planning on spending the night here and going home today. She's going home tomorrow. It snowed an inch here, but three up where she lives, and the roads are apparently super icy. So she's still here.

In other news, I found out I prequalify for a loan on a Toyota, AND because I graduated less than two years ago, I can get a $750 rebate.

So the next thing to do will be to talk to work. I'll ask them if they're going to renew my contract or convert me to an employee. I know that they want to keep me, and I honestly am fine with staying with the agency if they need to keep me in my current position (though I will tell the agency to negotiate a raise for me). But if they're thinking they want to move me around, that's even better.

Just as an fyi, you might want to glance at the current trip report (first post in it) from lostpro9het. He and his wife have travelled to WDW many times, and he had a number of magic bands from previous visits. He found out (the hard way) that if you have over a certain number (maybe 6? -- I'd have to go back and read it again), those are all still "active" accounts--so since he (inadvertently) exceeded the number of active magic band accounts, his new one would not work to open his hotel room door.

Obviously, this wasn't his fault as no one had ever mentioned anything like this to him, nor did he read it in any Disney literature. Anyway, the front desk had to close out the older band accounts, so that his newest band would work. Tuvalu also had an interesting response on this topic as well, in his thread.

Thanks again, Minnie...!!!!! :)

I looked into the Double Tree and the Best Western and they looked nice but in the end it would be more expensive for the two of us then staying at the All Stars. We would need to rent a car and that negated any savings of staying off property. We don't mind the All Stars it is just a place to sleep and cleanup ourselves. In fact I asked hubby if he wanted to book a preferred room and when I told him the price difference (it was like $224) of a preferred and standard he said no, he said that money could be used for food at good places. We have the motto of "we stay cheap so we can EAT!"

I saw that in his report. I don't have many of our Magic Bands still active. Hubs currently has only 2 active ones and I have three. I read about someone else having a problem a few months ago so I put all the old ones into inactive mode.

No, it is a lot like Disney that you can stay on site. They have one hotel with themed rooms, the Bosrijk park were we stayed at that offers 1 bedroom apartments, and houses with 3, 4 ,6 or 12 bedrooms. There is also the recently opened Loonsche Land park which is more basic accommodation. If you stay at one of the Efteling accommodations entry to the park is included in the price plus you get early access to certain rides each morning.
