Dh’s family is still here. This is day 3. No clue yet when they are going home. I have no issues. We don’t have @ajrwdwgirl issues. We get along. Only problem is the food. The Christmas dinner lasted 2 days. Now we are out. I have a loaf of bread I made the other day. Vegan bread pudding for breakfast you think?
@figmentfan423

Um . . . maybe they could take all of you out to breakfast or lunch? Just a thought . . .:cautious:

What is this Yak Attack drink and where do I get one? :hungry:

Puppy! Puppy! Puppy!:D

The QS window next to Yak and Yeti Animal Kingdom. Slushy rum based. The name of the place is Quality Beverages

I told my friend, DD (landlords daughter) when we were talking about the flooding downstairs that my DD wanted a Puppy as her reward. She didn’t say no. Now we shall see what my friends Dad has to say. Every othe building he owns has dogs.

After what happened with the departing, destructive, HUMAN tenants, I'd say that dogs are much better tenants than some people!

One of my Christmas gifts (from someone at work) was a nice pair of gloves and a scarf, but I realized that the colors, etc. didn't really go with any of my jackets. So today, I went to return them for store credit at Lord & Taylor, and I got there right when the mall opened this morning.

Progress?! Took 40 minutes to get these returned. :mad: Why?

Because ONE register on the floor was programmed correctly for returns. None of the software in the other registers had been updated, and all the sales people were having a cow. Their registers kept crashing, and customers were ticked off. Good grief--right in the middle of the busy "returns" season after Christmas and their system was down. :rolleyes: :banghead:

When I was in high school, I worked part-time in retail during holidays and summer. Back then, it was just credit card, cash, or check. And I can tell you that we processed all returns within minutes. :cautious:

OMG WTW????? Every store I've been in the week after Christmas has at least one if not more registers set up and ready to go for returns or exchanges only.

And it got stranger--so they were going to give me a store gift card for the return. However, even the stupid gift card function on the registers was not working either! :facepalm: So the frustrated sales woman said she was going to have to give me cash instead. I was fine with that. ;)

Cash is always good:D I hope you were able to get what you wanted. I was lucky I got a set of black gloves with faux fur trim and ear muffs to match. It's still too cold to try them out:mad:

But the reason you got the gloves and ear muffs is to wear them in the cold, silly!! :joyfull:

I didn't stick around in the mall after getting my 40-minute cash . . . Can't stand malls to begin with, so I scooted out of there. I'll have no problem finding a use for the cash someplace else! :D

That's pretty crazy about the return system. Although getting the cash back I stress was nice. Did you find something there you liked? Or are you saving it for something special, maybe something at Disney. Are you planning on returning to Wdw this coming year?

Edit: I see you scooted with the cash.
