You say that like it's a good thing...

Good, beautiful, exciting, ahhhh . . .

Or, we could also go this route--very Currier and Ives, or very Thomas Kinkade . . . :inlove:

@Mr Ferret 88 , @MouseDreaming and @donaldtoo it's magic cookie bar day here. A nod to our dearly departed cousin Finn:joyfull:
I had to hunt one of those down for days just to try it. One day going through all of the recipes left from my mom, I found what must have been the original recipe for it. I want to say Borden put it out. I probably couldn't find it again. Here's to cousin Finn!

Also, just a tip...don't stress to make everything perfect. Go with the flow. I've never, ever had everything go exactly according to plan, but if you work to hard trying to make everything go exactly according to plan, you won't end up having a good time. Remember, it is vacation. Relax, take it all in, and enjoy it. :)
I think it is especially important to be flexible with your plans when visiting at this very busy time.

13 years ago today, my now husband, took me to the ballet to see the Nutcracker and upon returning home I saw a vase of roses and a card on my counter. I read the card and it said, "will you marry me". :inlove: Isn't he lucky I said yes?!:joyfull: Later I asked him why he didn't get down on one knee and he told me it is because I read the card too fast!:happy:

Yum, I'll just take the cheese please. This is something I will miss about going to Chicago at Christmas.

And I am feeling better today, I made it through work okay. I was starting to lose my voice by the end of the day but I kind of expected that.

Are you going back to Disney for Christmas? Fun!
Glad you are feeling better.
And why not ship some Garrett's to your home? I don't think it will make it in time for Christmas, but maybe it could be a special New Year's Eve treat?

@Goofyernmost , any (even slight) improvement in your leg this week?
Thank you very much for asking, that is so nice of you. Kind of makes me feel bad about picking on you for your strange preference in weather. I will get over that though as long as all the stays in your area! Yes, it is considerably better. Between the high powered pain killers, which I am about to run out of and the exercises that I have to do twice a day there has been a marked improvement in the duration of the pain. Before it was there all day and all I had to do is take about two steps to activate it, however, now it is much less of a continuous problem. It will get bad if I spend too much time either walking or standing, but, it does take much longer for the bad stuff to kick in and I am optimistic that it will eventually fade away, it is however taking it's sweet time to move along.:)
