It's not an age thing one of my steps couldn't figure out how she kept bouncing checks(she figured out how much money she had by how many checks she had left:facepalm::banghead:, her coming home to a padlocked apartment was also fun. NOT
I know, it's just sad when I'm explaining how accrued interest and credit works to those older than me.

My one friend if we go out to dinner I take her check and calculate how much she owes in a tip for her.

Forgot to tell y'all about the latest thing the nuisance Jasmine is doing. She's decided that it's great fun to hide under the dishwasher when it's open. So now every time you open the dishwasher, she runs under it, and as you walk by, you get your ankles batted. And then, if you're loading it and you've had steak or chicken, or something else yummy, when your back is turned, she gets in the dishwasher and starts licking the plates.

Bad cat.
One of our dogs licks the silverware when I load it. Very annoying.

This drives me nuts about my friends on a regular basis. Most of them are so indecisive about everything. I'm very much the type A personality of "Make a plan, tell me what it is, stick to it." I don't like indecision. I don't like not planning. I don't see how anyone can go through life like that.

That, and I will make this an age thing here, but so many people my age have no clue how to manage money, with the exception of those of us who went to college for business. It drives me crazy when I have to explain to my friends why no, they should not use their debit cards everywhere, and no, if you use PayPal credit and pay off that airline ticket in 6 months with no interest, it will not hurt your credit...but how can you fault them when we were never taught this stuff in school? That was part of the issue with my friend, trying to manage her money and get it together before the trip was an issue.
Totally agree here, but believe me the lack of financial skills goes across all generations. I tell my kids that one of the most important classes they can take is an economics class in college. I think economics should be a mandatory class in order to graduate. It wasn't when I went to school. I have ds taking a econ 101 class (free online from Hillsdale college), so he can get a head start. I put the importance of business knowledge up there with math and science.
By the way dh needed to block out vacation dates at work for September so wanted to know when we were going to HHI. Usually we go the week before Labor Day. The room rate is almost half less after Labor Day then before. Anyway, all the 2 bdrm villas were booked.:eek: The week of Labor Day was open though, so I thought I should book before I lost that.

Isn't he the cat hater?
Mr. "I don't want another cat" now considers Jasmine to be his cat. He says it on a regular basis. He picks her up, rubs her head, talks to her...yet he didn't want her.

He'll say he doesn't like cats, but even with Belle, he's really just a softie.

Like me, thoughb he's definitely not a dog person. Although the neighbors across the street have these little ones, and they are so darned cute that even my father was like, "Well, we could get one of those..."o_O And it was me and my mom saying nope to that one.

I dont know why I imagine a super burly man (like the Tangled guy who likes tiny unicorns).
Going all macho, pushing everyone away with no remorse. Then going "AWWW!! I Want one!" (like tony stark) upon seeing an adorable cat.

Yup, thnx and too late. We checked the long range over the weekend. We were supposed to go to my in laws but between the weather and everything that has happened my dh thought it would be a good ideas to have a back up plan
I may have mentioned my dh took a trip to the farm:hungover:
Feast of the 7 fishes is still going to be at my house Christmas Eve. Try finding 7 when shrimp, scallops and lobster have to be left off the menu. At least nobody seems to have a problem with crab PHEW

Here are the other 6 for your dinner, and they're easily found at the supermarket. :):
