We don't really do black Friday properly. There are a lot of 20% sales on but no yuge discounts.
Example - a UK camera shop where i was looking at an advanced point and squirt rrp £249 . Black Friday deal £30 off. Hardly earth shattering and not enough to make me splurge the cash.
Same here, most discounts are on average 20%. We are lucky that sometimes Mastercard or VISA steps up and gives additional 10% discount on top of anything.

The "huge" deals are usually very outdated stuff and mostly focused on TVs and Cellphones.

My thanksgiving plate and a close up of the stuffing (was put in the bird, although there is also some in my crockpot). It all looks disgusting but it was oh so delicious. So pumpkin dessert for us, hubs doesn't like pumpkin. So I bought candy cane ice cream and made hot fudge, we will eat that tonight for our dessert.

Stuffing isn't stuffing unless it's been in-the-bird-cooked...it's so much tastier!!!

So hubs loves to put up Christmas lights and decorations outside but can't this year because of his ankle but he asked a church member to put of the nativity and the new Christmas schnauzer he bought a couple months ago. The schnauzer is cute so when Kapono and I finished our walk today in the sunny 57 degree weather I took a picture of her and the decoration. She wasn't too thrilled with it.

@donaldtoo , I love the wedding photos--beautiful, historical walk down memory lane. Love the vintage wedding clothing on the grandparents, but enjoyed all the other wedding attire as well.

Thanks, Minnie!!! :)
I've meant to take some pics before, but, have always gotten otherwise distracted...you know, food and all... :hilarious:   :cyclops: ;)
But, I'm sooo very thankful my folks have preserved that family history...!!!!!

Vegan scalloped potatoes. Yum. :hungry:I made some a few weeks back using pureed chickpeas in the sauce. Did your dd make them? Recipe?
Love the pics of your family. Very cool! :):cool:Yes, I don't think smiling was a thing in pictures back in the day. Pictures I have seen of my great grandparents make them all look so stern. I remember reading once that people may not have smiled so much because their teeth weren't in the best shape. Who knows. I knew my great grandfather on my mother's side and he had teeth.:D

Oh my, I forgot to ask oldest DD for the recipe for the country fried tofu and the scalloped potatoes...geez, what the heck good am I...

Anyway, thanks! :)
I've heard that before, and my pops pop did indeed have false teeth for as long as I can remember, and he had fun teasing us! He and my grandmother were a hoot, and I still miss them...and moms folks, too...they were awesome grandparents...those pics are treasures...!!!

Got one Black Friday deal this morning. $50 off a $160 Lego. Yep, apparently not done with Lego in my house. Not a bad deal on that though, and I did get a free Lego Nutcracker set. Now if anyone knows where I can score a Nintendo SNES classic. Never should have given away my old, barely used one. Apparently old is new again for double the price on Ebay.:banghead::banghead::banghead:

 ;)
