My thanksgiving plate and a close up of the stuffing (was put in the bird, although there is also some in my crockpot). It all looks disgusting but it was oh so delicious. So pumpkin dessert for us, hubs doesn't like pumpkin. So I bought candy cane ice cream and made hot fudge, we will eat that tonight for our dessert.

There is a small confusion regarding Prime.
The shipping is 2 days for free. But the "preparing package" can take from 1 day to 3 days.
Most of the times they ship in the second day early morning or late night.

Unless it is very late PM when we order we almost always receive our PRIME packages within the 2 day window. Because we are in the same region of the day of warehouse at times we receive some Amazon packages the same day or the next, just depending on what was ordered and if it was fulfilled by Amazon. The one order I returned this week was not fulfilled by Amazon, reminded me more of Ebay.

I didn't get to see any of the dog show, hubs wanted to watch football. I had plenty of dog show though, we are taking care of my sister's dogs while they are in Florida. So a total of 4 dogs here.

OMG-- a CLASSIC WKRP episode. I laugh every time I see that. Loved that show.

I like that show too. Me, one of my favorites of that era was Barney Miller. All those officers had such different personalities and Barney was like Mr. Mom to them all.

So far, we're more than halfway through the evening, and no one has asked me if I have a boyfriend. So far, so good.

Any tips on keeping my DS from getting mad because we won't let him drink cola during the week, especially right before bedtime?

Me it was pick my battles. (my kids never seemed to have sugar or caffeine issues growing up) I watched friends of mine have a debate with their kids with just about anything. I didn't go down that road. I saved that for the things that I had to draw the line in the sand about. It carried more weight when I did say No.

I had candy jars, 6 in the kitchen alone and 6 cookie jars. There was likely 5 different varieties of soda going in cases at once. They never had to ask. Oddly it was their friends that indulged, rarely them. It wasn't forbidden or restricted so they payed it no mind.
