My thanksgiving plate and a close up of the stuffing (was put in the bird, although there is also some in my crockpot). It all looks disgusting but it was oh so delicious. So pumpkin dessert for us, hubs doesn't like pumpkin. So I bought candy cane ice cream and made hot fudge, we will eat that tonight for our dessert.

So we have had our new prelit tree up for almost 2 weeks now. The cats have not bothered with it at all. The kids decorated it. (Can't believe I let them do it without input.) Anyway, our littlest kitty by size Oliver, climbed up the middle of the tree! One of our family ornaments(the ones with our names we get every year) dropped and a piece broke. No big deal as I just Gorilla glued it back. But really. He doesn't mess with it at all for almost 2 weeks and today he just decides to romp around in it?

Love the table cloth. The food looks great too! I saw the parade (bits and pieces) too. I preferred the dog show from Philly that was on afterwards though. Those were some cute and well behaved pups.

I didn't get to see any of the dog show, hubs wanted to watch football. I had plenty of dog show though, we are taking care of my sister's dogs while they are in Florida. So a total of 4 dogs here.

20 pounds?!! Nope, TWO pounds (no leg, just a smaller section of white meat). That's a whole pound for each one of us, plus some potato, carrots (note: carrots are o.k. as long as they're not in soup), stuffing (Bells brand comes in a box, and is easy to make), and cranberry sauce.

Hubs ran his race this morning and came home with three pies!!! We'd rather eat leftover pie for days than leftover turkey.

Yes, boneless, too, so a full 2 pounds. I'll roast it in the oven tomorrow.
