Ok, Update, My FIL is still in the hospital, but he's ok. Basically he had a blockage in his intestines, which made his entire digestive system back up into his stomach, so everything came out the wrong way. He had the brain hemorrhage in...june?...somewhere around there. I know it was shortly after I got back from my dad's funeral, and I came back in May, and DS was really worried he was going to lose his other grandpa, too. So that seems to have caused some damage that is causing "Vascular Parkinsons" (I didn't know there was any kind of Parkinsons besides just the standard thing.) He's been in a lot of pain and they gave him Oxycodone, which I guess can affect the digestive system. So they have now flushed him out, but he's not allowed to eat anything and he can only drink small amounts of clear liquids. He's still in so much pain, though. So I'm not sure how long he has to stay there, but he's out of immediate danger anyway. Thank you for the prayers and pixie dust!!

I just became sick of looking at it over the decades and it was huge. Nobody wanted to put it up or hang the ornaments any longer, nobody wanted to spend time taking it down and packing up all the ornaments. I divided all the ornaments up that were special to the family and then each kid. I tossed or garage saled the balance of all those ornaments and the tree sold too at the garage sale (I put it together) as it was an expensive fake tree.

Simplicity is often preferential. Less is more. :cat:

Same, I found Seinfield beyond stupid o_o
The only thing that I found remotely funny was the NO SOUP FOR YOU guy.
Senfield for me was bland, weak, has zero interesting things.

Friends for me was better. But didn't click nor I understood the hype.
Meh, I found shows like Frasier funnier. or Scrubs and Big Bang Theory.

But then, I dont think you guys and gals would understand my obsession with some cartoons or right now.. Stranger Things Season 2.

While I don't care for Seinfeld, even to be in the room when it is on...No Soup For You is hilarious. A well used 'line' in our family. Friends held my interest likely because it was funny and the character personalities were so different that it lent itself to so many episode possibilities.

Then there was that guy draw back in the day with Jennifer Aniston. She had quite the male fan club back then. Couple that with the wardrobe department. Lets say their wearing thin little tops without undergarments was interest provoking for some.

I watched my fair share of both Cheers and Fraizer back then. Cheers had enough characters for longevity. Fraizer did not so it started to become redundant after a few years. Neither do I watch in reruns. I found the same problem with Two and A Half Men, well until the complete meltdown of that show.

We just started getting Sunday delivery. It's nice. There's a shipping location in Baltimore, and I've been getting one day deliveries a lot lately. I ordered the cats a new water fountain. The old one we got the day we got Belle, and it's old and horrible to clean. We got a new one that's bigger and dishwasher safe. I ordered it yesterday afternoon and it was delivered today.

The state of MD is also bidding for Amazon to put their new headquarters in Baltimore. Not that I would want to work for Amazon, but it would be really great for the city if they were to put headquarters there.

Baltimore, Boston, and another city in MA -- along with a bunch of other cities/states. They're all trying to lure Amazon (oh by the way, @donaldtoo , Austin is one of them). ;)

Oh, hubs also received a package today (Sunday delivery).

I don't watch Seinfeld often because the despicable characters get on my nerves after a while, but I love Elaine and some of her remarks. And there are some episodes that are just classics. The puffy shirt, shrinkage, Festivus...every Dec 23, I'm like, "Shall we begin with the airing of grievances?":hilarious:

I don't care much for Will and Grace, and I've never really watched Friends. Big Bang Theory we watch pretty much every night and reference all the time. Oh, and Everybody Loves Raymond...if I was having a bad day when I was in college, an episode of that could make me feel better.
I can't stand Ray, so I have never watched a single episode of Everybody Loves Raymond. It lies...not EVERYONE loves him. I never really watched Will and Grace, though I don't mind it. And I never liked Seinfeld. Love Friends and Big Bang Theory, though!
