Baltimore, Boston, and another city in MA -- along with a bunch of other cities/states. They're all trying to lure Amazon (oh by the way, @donaldtoo , Austin is one of them). ;)

Oh, hubs also received a package today (Sunday delivery).

My DD Amazon came today. Mail Carrier standing outside with package ringing doorbell. Guess sign on the door saying mailboxes on the Southside wasn't going to happen.

Oh yes, been in the news 'round here for a while.
We're "weird" and cool and all that jazz, but, our roads and mass transit are carp-city.
50,000-ish new jobs and incomes, + all the ancillary new jobs and incomes would be awesome financially, but, in the end, I don't think we're even close to being able to handle it. I would be extremely surprised if we got chosen.
Plus, Amazon, obviously, ain't stoopid...they got all the bureaucrats carping themselves sideways all over the entire country falling all all over themselves in beyond stupid ways.
It's actually pretty hilarious...!!!!! :hilarious:

I heard one town, I think it was in Georgia, offered to change the name of their town to Amazon if it was chosen.

Yep, I heard that on GMA one morning last week.
It is what it is and we'll see how it all plays out over the next year or so. At least I think I heard it was gonna' be about a year from now before they make a final decision...things are gonna' probably get even way more beyond crazier, and ya' know Amazon is lovin' it...!!!!!!! :joyfull: :hilarious:  ;)

I really should hire you to decorate my house, it would be the perfect mix of Disney and palm trees:inlove::inlove::inlove:

Surprisingly my house has very little Disney theming, most is kitchen plates, salt pepper shakers. I do have the monorail set though that goes around a Christmas Tree from the Contemporary to Epcot.

But I can help. My DS has quite the collection of Disney Decor in both his office and his apartment, some nice paintings too, all low key. I love that he looks at a picture of SSE at nightime. His office also has the I spy type of Lion KIng framed and matted with hidden images within the design that ya gotta look for. He has a Disney Transportation shelf with all the modes of transportation. Then there is the Toy Story Shelf. In the corner of his office by his guest chairs is a pretty large LifeGuard Mickey. One side of his taller filing unit has all of his favorite magnets. His office is not tiny so it is all accent pieces and not overwhelming.

My DD has LIfeGuard Minnie in her apartment, now one of those Main St Mickey pumpkins, calendars and a few smaller statues on her book shelf and on her Dresser. Her home is more Disney-fied than mine but less than her brothers.

Coat rack:rolleyes:. He got it for me thinking I would use it. A very sweet thought but I much prefer walking outside, working out to a dvd or just going for it with music. It's right up there with the other clothes rack a Total Gym. He asked for that one year.:hilarious:?????????

We have clothes racks too. A total gym and an elliptical. And if the weight bricks on a pulley system are not enough we have a wide assortment of bar bells, kettle balls and hand weights. I've been dusting the cobwebs off them for well over a decade though my DS when he lived at home did use them when he didn't want to go to the fitness center.

I view exercise equipment the same way I view the latest need for additional tools.
