I had to go to the emergency room yesterday, and it was 10 hours in between eating my pastry for breakfast and eating anything else. And what I ate was soup.

I was entitled to eat anything I wanted today. :D

Nine Dragons has Chicken Consume. Which is Wonton soup believe it or not.
If that is true, I wish they would have stated it that way. I saw it on the menu and all I could think of was sort of a chicken paste. To bad too, because nothing else at Nine Salamanders impressed me at all.

45 degrees when you're from a destination spot in Mexico ... is absolutely cold!
That boy does not have, nor need, our tolerance for colder temps.
And let's be honest, only you and one or two Husky dogs actually LIKE the cold. :p
I'm thinking that even including TWO Husky's might be an exaggeration. The highest it has been here today is 29F and I'm inside and cold even though I have spent the majority of my life way up north. I thought that I had politely asked that you keep the cold air up in Canada where it belongs. And you call yourselves good neighbors!

I was lucky on my trip to Florida. On the way down, right after I crossed into the SUNSHINE STATE it started to rain really hard and it was chilly. Traffic slowed to a crawl. It took me a full hour and a half longer to get there then usual because of the traffic. Then the next morning the sun came out, although chilly in the morning, I went to the parks with a short sleeve shirt and shorts. By evening I was starting to regret not having something a little warmer on. (sweat shirts on the following evenings) During the day it went up to the upper 70's and it was comfortable. I was in the parks only for three days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and it was clear skies and in the mid to upper 70's everyday. It got colder on the morning that I headed back home.

Took you long enough  . . . you're finally coming around. :p Snow is beautiful. :joyfull:

Oh, I've always thought snow is beautiful. It's snowed here in Austin several times over the years, we've been snow skiing, and we even used to go up into the snow covered mountains when we lived in NoCal to cut our Christmas tree every year.
I just wouldn't wanna' live in it, and the bitter cold, like y'all do up there about 15 months or so :D outta' the year...! ;) :)

Thanks! You know... you're alright for a Canadian. And as you said... Of all the Canadians I know, you certainly are one of them.

You would get a kick out of the t-shirt I bought. It is of Grumpy and at the neck it starts with the beard and below the body are the words... "Always Grumpy"! It was made for me.
I've told you this before, but sometimes when I go to tag you, your name does not pop up.
Turns out, we don't actually have a @grumpyernmost on the forum. :hilarious:

Happy Sunday!!! It was minus 7 here this morning - minus 25 with wind chills. We had to bring the horses inside yesterday morning because it was so bitter. Needless to say, there is no sign of their winter fur starting to shed. Come on spring!!!
I was out at 7:30 this morning, and again at 9:30.
Minus 25C (minus 13F).
With the windchill - minus 40C (minus 40F).
It was insanely cold

We currently have a winter weather advisory, a special weather statement, a high wind advisory, and a wind chill advisory in effect. Freezing rain finally changed over and it is currently snowing. Staying in was a good idea today.

Just glad it's not a blizzard like what @MinnieM123 and others up north are experiencing right now.

I'm gonna' completely stifle about our weather yesterday... :cautious:
But, today, it's 65 and a bit drizzly. :cyclops:

Can somebody exlain to me please, how in the past 2 years of wild weight fluctuactions, I only own one pair of size 10 jeans? :arghh:
I have 3 x 12, 1 x 10, 4 x 8, 6 x 6, 4 x 4, and 2 x 2.
It would appear that I seem to skip size 10 both on my way up, and on my way down.

On the plus side, I have 3 pairs of black work slacks which fit fine, and another 8 or 9 pairs which will fit over the coming months. Hope to be back to my regular size 6 in time for all my pretty summer skirts. :)
