Oh, BELIEVE me, if I ever had to make the choice between eating either meat or vegetables, the meat would DEFINITELY win...! :)

Although, the gravy part could be a bit perplexing. Since it's usually made from the juice of the meat and (wheat) flour... ;)

I about 5 years ago mastered rich luscious gravy. It was good before but now sooo good. It took me years to master creamy garlic dressing. Just made an 8 cup container for my Dad. Should last him a month. Toppings are great.

So I was in Norwood yesterday (about 15 miles southwest of downtown Boston). Anyway I was looking for a two story building and didn't even see the building until pulling into the parking lot. It was like Mount Everest of snow plowing. From the road, you couldn't even tell a building was there.

Oh Dear. Snow is so unnecessary. :cautious:

That's sad and completely unacceptable. Supposedly, Disney prides themselves on hosting people with various medical issues, and it seems like they have been dropping the ball. :(

I sincerely hope that the rest of the time you spend in the parks goes well for you. We're all looking forward to your pictures, too (maybe when you get home, and have more time).

heres some photos.
someo of them are not very good because im still learning to use this new camera.
I moved from a DSLR APC sensor to a full frame camera, and everything is different to manage)

Our news is all about the Jackie Robinson Little League, now for the time being ex National Champs. Don't know if this controversy is nationwide or not since JWR league is a Chicago league but Wowzers. The passion brought to the table for 12 year old Little League and the lengths all people involved on both sides and politicians is incredible.

The passion for any type of baseball is alive and well.
I remember watching a documentary about " talent finders" who cheat the systems.. getting older kids from latin america or cuba and insert them to the US child leagues under another name (swapped kid)
so a "Carlos Romero with 16 year old" becomes officially " Charly Fernandez with 13 years old" .
all to cheat, gain titles, and the talent finders get a ton of money.
then the kids are pretty much sold to the other higher leagues.
its all in $$$$

I don't do well with screen based rides, they really mess with my equilibrium, my brain feels fuzzy and if I've eaten recently my tummy gets upset too. Only sleep helps.

StarWars was always the worst for me. So I go on with whoever I am with, I pick out spot on floor and stare. Works for me. If I am traveling solo, I skip them after experiencing them once.
it wasnt that bad for starwars for me, the potter ride was definitively intense due of the shacking (affects my vertigo when my head is leaned backwards)

but I get your point.
I'm definitively not riding that one again...or at least leaving it to the end of the day. So I can vomit in peace in my room lol.

So after basically not eating yesterday, other than some soup, my lunch today was:
  • Chipotle Steak salad
  • Tortilla chips
  • Side of guacamole
  • Eggs rolls
  • Wonton soup
  • Cookies
I think I'm good for a while.
careful, tortillas are prtetty fattening.
also damn, I wish there was wonton soup at disney.
I went to nine dragons and they only had sour and hot soup, I didnt liked it.. too sour.
Nothing like the ones I had in MExico city which were more balanced.

for something completely different..
the cleanest bathrom award goes for.. CORONADO SPRINGS convention area.,
the dirties bathroom award goes to.. EPCOT (nine dragons restaurant)
weirdest bathroom award goes to..hogsmeade. it looks all rock and concrete, then out of nowhere.. an usual office like bathroom.

Yep. Get that, unfortunately. And you are young yet.

Boma breakfast is my second favorite breakfast destination only passed by Kona. What makes Boma and Kona stand out is it is not the run of the mill breakfast buffet options. The potatoes-yum, the porridge, the pastries have different tastes to them over almost every other pastry option on property. The Pap with their spicy relish is delish. And because Animal Kingdom is so far from most guests hotel resort guests can usually snag an early seating without having an ADR. *drooling* now. Kona wins because they have some great choices and I can order off the menu, something I appreciate.

Are you reading this @Cesar R M ???
eeeh, thanks for the suggestion.. but i usually skip breakfast.
I dont like the always " eggs from a liquid bag plus the same sausages..etc..etc.."
but I ate at samaa, Decent indian like food.

but pretty expensive for the little food they give.
I think Ohana was more worth imho.

I had kids in competitive sports and my DH coached both my DD and my DS teams over the years. The very first year he caught heck from other coaches for his naive approach to winning. He believed every kid played equally and every kid played infield and outfield every game. The only way he waffled was pitching. If they wanted to pitch they had to prove control to him in practice because he didn't want kids getting beaned in the noggin.

The season ended with the final round being my DH team and the much favored teamed coached by our neighbor 2 doors down with my DS then best friend who pitched, my DS didn't. Parents having a fit with my DH sticking to his ways in the Championship vs trying to win. So angry with him. In the end our team pulled away the last few innings while the neighbor boy choked on the mound. Of course my DH and DS were happy with the win however he was more proud of his team and his theory to develop each kid into a better ballplayer not just the most talented.

When he went on to coach my DD softball team years later the parent fits started up again. He didn't have too many issues with his teams but a chunk of these parents were nuts. My kids ultimately landed on competitive swimming. Didn't matter these parents were just as crazy and manipulative. By the way, none of these kids made it to the Olympics nor did they sign with any sports leagues. The neighbor boy became an attorney. Senseless nonsense of parents.
