Oh wow. No wonder his buds were havin' so much fun yankin' his chain...!!! :hilarious:
I've experienced all a' that, and more, over the years, along with my silly heart condition.

Have ever only had two surgeries. The first was shortly after youngest DD was born, so ya' can probably guess what that was about. :cautious: ;) Only need a local and about 15 min. for that one. The Doc, nurses, and I yakked the whole time about work, kids, snow skiing, etc.. :)
The Doc thought it was funny 'cause he had a guy in for the same procedure one time that remained completely quiet and looked quite annoyed through the whole thing as he and the nurses talked away through the procedure.
Didn't say one word...until they were completely finished. Apparently, once he felt the coast was clear, and he was safe, he let 'em all have it for yakkin' away all through his "delicate' procedure...!!! :hilarious:
The other surgery (for an infection), I did hafta' be put under for, and it lasted about 1.5 hrs. All went well and I felt great when I woke up in recovery. But, the 2-ish weeks of healing after that weren't quite the cake walk I'd hoped...! :in pain: ;) :)
I think women tend to have quite a few more surgeries.
Seems once we're done with our women parts, they start to give us trouble.

I think God should have included an eject button. Done with your ovaries ... eject. Don't need that uterus ... eject. Gall bladder twinges ... eject.
(And yes, I know men have gall bladders too, but yours tend to behave better.)

While we're recounting surgeries, I've had 7, all of which required general anaesthesia.
One for a foreign object in my foot - age 5
Three for aggressive plantar warts - age 9-14
One for removal of four Wisdom Teeth - age 22
One for five separate gynecological procedure (only one that was a big deal) - age 37
One for hysterectomy - age 45

Still have my ovaries, gall bladder and appendix ... so who knows?

I loved riverside as well, but then.. I ate the Gumbo, the shrimp with ham and sauce and a steak.
The times I ordered there, the food was very good for me.
the only thing that was so so.. was the cakes.. they were a bit dry.

as far I remember, riverside as 2 restaurants, one quick and the other is boatwright, only open for dinner.
I found the QS to be pretty pathetic.. Boatwright was very good for me.
But then.. others have said nightmares of CORAL REEF and it was fantastic for me on 2013
The Po'boy was from POFQ, which only has one QS restaurant. For TS, you have to walk or take the boat to Riverside.

Double check yourself. If you're unsure...

Ah, tablet typing. My aunt once posted on Facebook that she might "lay around the hose naked" one day because she was tablet typing (she meant house, not hose). All of her relatives had a field day with that one. Including certain nieces.

I think I win in this department.. I have had 9 surgeries before my 25 years...

*edit* who knows how many might have in the future.
I have been lucky after recovering from my illness, no accidents.. no bone fractures..etc..

Sympathy like

Appreciated. Don't you just hate multiple phone calls cause the news keeps getting worse?

I tag this one on my DH. I said something was up. Your own car is similar to your own kid, your gut says something is happening. He wasn't experiencing the change I was feeling. Then I, not being car savvy began to doubt my gut. Shouldn't do that. That was a lot of Disney Dollars. Ooops.

the dueling dragons? nope, I was too loaded with food to try that.
Also, its pretty cold in florida with wind.
so nope nope.

anyway, I am talking about the forbiden journey (the one with the massive 3d screens)
the movement, the mismached speed of what you seen and what the ride system moved... got me feeling unwell (the worst part was the quidditch part)
The ride itself is fantastic. But the screens werenot very good, they looked dirty ,blurry and not bright enough.
but loved the dragon, the spiders and the dementor anymatronics.

I loved the queue more, so much to see! lots of details!
I always had to close my eyes when the spider part came. I'm terrified.

allright folks, time for bed.. I'm definitively crashing down by exhaustion. tomorrow its going to be pure conventions, so hopefully a bit more quiet..
my legs really cant handle walking miles and miles.
Specially since my room is like 1 km away from the lobby, then more talk to the bus stop... then the convention center.. :hilarious:

you all sleep well!

I would love an eject button for that but I would also like to be able to use it to get out of stressful situations.
