HAH seriously? they think the mousekeeping is only 40$?

Man, they really are being desperate to keep cutting down services!

There is so much you can cut until you're barebones and cant cut anything and things fall apart.

This is just like I've responded many times before...
The bean counters are in charge, and they are all just frenzilly tripping over each other to come up with the next demented cost-cutting, money-grab, hoodwinking of Guests scheme, without any consideration of the Companies history, or it's future legacy. It's just so sick at this point. The Company is diseased.

Warning: the worst Disney list ever. How the hell do these people get their jobs.

Ha! They created their jobs/company. Have you never tripped across them before? She was a blogger. She and her hubby and a friend turned it into a business. In under 10 years she/they had absorbed many other companies and have branched out. She now has 450 employees, branches in multiple states and also (one in London just for you) and is still growing. So that is how that Women got her Job.

But would I pay $20 for the balloon, nope! I'd have to say I completely agreed with about 1/3 of her observations, like no place to sit and wait, stupid stroller parking, admission costs and the end result exhaustion. I never come home from WDW well rested-purposefully. The rest of her comments meh, a reach.

I was so happy when Joffery's hit Disney early this decade. That old sludge syrup stuff was nasty. Only good thing about going home or eating in a quality TS restaurant was a decent cup of coffee. Disney clung to the coffee syrup way too long. Seems you are enjoying your vacation.

Yes, the Joffrey's coffee is very good, I believe it is served on the cruise line too. It made my coffee this morning taste bad, well not terrible but not as good as at Disney. We had a good time on vacation, we got home last night (actually this morning at 12:30am) because our plane was delayed. After unpacking and getting the dog back today has been restful. Now I'm trying to ketchup on here, you all were very busy while I was gone!

Oh my! That corn dog looks delicious...!!!!! :hungry:
But, I noticed there is no stick...is that how hand-dipped is different from stick-dipped or dip-sticked...?! o_O :D
Or, had you already taken the stick out...?! o_O ;)

The stick was in it it was just at the other end of the corn dog, and not visible in the picture. It was good. I would have like to have dipped it in mustard though, but there were no packets out and when we asked they said they would bring some out. Of course we knew what that meant, we weren't getting any mustard so ketchup sufficed.

I miss @ajrwdwgirl . Hope she and hubby are having so much fun on their cruise, and she'll have stories and great photos when they return!! :)

^^^This I'm hoping for a pic of Mickey and Minnie on board

I missed you all as well. We had a great time. I will be doing a trip report, I'll probably start it this week. I haven't looked at all my pictures yet. I will have some character pictures from the cruise.

Wow. I kept looking and didn't see the kid until the lifeguard jumped in. Scary . . .
The older my DD gets the less tolerant she has become with adults. When managing last week she ran to two saves for a weak swimmer to start with and both times the same kid. They all cringe when those air horns sound for a save Parents nowhere to be found though warned She tried to toss them from the park for breaking the posted rule. Twice. They wouldn't leave. They were then met by the police. Police gave them the choice to leave or be arrested for child endangerment they left after the police report was written. It is awful when any lifeguard spots a kid on the bottom of the pool. Too many times it's because parents are brain dead and abandon their kids in water.

i want fireworks to be illegal again except for real displays. Stupid neighbors.

My state does little right. That banning of consumer fireworks is one thing they did right. Still we have a few on our road every year that need to blow up these things. Last summer the family 3 doors down were fined $500. The sheriff deputy sat in his car until she witnessed it. There is so many gardens and farmed portions along with hay. Just look at how many times Disney has set their own property on fire this Spring. Reedy was having a fit and the news started tracking during the drought.

And I just heard a Kaboom. 1026 pm a work day tomorrow. idiots

Yep. It isn't like these things are fool proof. There are accidents due to random bad ones even with professionals. Fires accidentally set by professionals. I wouldn't risk it. I would have never allowed my kids to partake. We yesterday had a child in the county likely to loose an eye to a simple bottle rocket that misfired. Her parents thought it was something fun and special. Bet in time the 10 year old will wonder why?

Speaking of fireworks. I feel for you all the same, because technically all fireworks bigger than sparkles are banned in most of my country. But people do not give a darn.
I've seen vendors selling BIG SHELS everywhere. and those are brutal.. badly fired can pretty much damage a house severely or set things on fire.
(houses are very tightly built in most areas)
